About Pickle
Pickle is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace unlocking the value of the billions of underutilized items sitting in consumers' closets. We make it easy to rent high-quality items exactly when you need them — with fast, convenient fulfillment and an on-demand experience that's as seamless as shopping.
We're building a new kind of commerce layer: one powered by dynamic local supply, where access is more convenient than ownership. Pickle is now live nationwide and scaling rapidly in key local markets including NYC, LA, and Miami. Our marketplace already features 400K+ items, and we're just getting started. We're excited to extend our vision beyond fashion into every category.
What makes Pickle different is the combination of incredible peer-to-peer inventory, industry-leading convenience (under 2 days nationwide and under 2 hours locally), and an on-demand model with no subscriptions — users rent what they want, when they want it. We've raised $20M to date from FirstMark, Craft, Burst Capital, FJ Labs, and others, and we're scaling quickly to build the future of access-driven shopping.
About The Role
We're hiring an Influencer Sales & Relationships Associate to scale our influencer outreach, onboarding and engagement as we expand across cities nationwide.
This role sits at the center of Pickle's growth engine - owning influencer outreach, onboarding, activation, and retention while helping build the systems and playbooks that scale our creator ecosystem nationally. You'll be working directly with some of the trendiest creators across the country.
This is a highly relationship-driven role with a strong outbound component. You'll spend a significant amount of time on creator outreach, onboarding calls, relationship management, and activation strategy. Compensation is structured to reward both landing new creator relationships and growing the value of Pickle’s existing portfolio over time — this isn't a one-and-done acquisition role.
Core metrics include: new creators onboarded (as owners + renters), social content posted & reach, referral-driven signups and rentals, transactions, item upload frequency, rental frequency, UAC and CAC. Secondary metrics include: calls booked & events attended.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to help define the future of creator-led marketplace growth at a fast-growing startup - and who's motivated by a comp plan that pays out on real, trackable outcomes.
Responsibilities
Creator Acquisition & Growth
- Own influencer onboarding from outreach to activation: DMs, onboarding calls, closet setup, 1st rentals, and activation strategy
- Track and optimize core KPIs including calls booked, activation rate, social content output, and referral-driven signups
- Build scalable systems and playbooks to grow Pickle from thousands of creators to tens of thousands nationwide
- Manage and scale creator programs across nano, micro, and macro influencers, driving consistent engagement, content creation, and marketplace activity
Creator Success & Merchandising
- Support select creators with closet setup, inventory uploads, and merchandising optimization
- Create lookbooks and help creators source rentals to wear and share across social channels
- Create assets and workflows that help creators better manage merchandising and social sharing
Scale Relationships & Engagement
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing creators, ensuring they feel supported and continue engaging with Pickle as renters and owners
- Deepen relationships with creators, tastemakers, stylists, campus influencers, and emerging fashion personalities across key markets
- Track core moments and interests across creators to facilitate more personalized outreach
- Be highly responsive and helpful when creators need support or guidance
Events & Community
- Support the execution of IRL events that deepen creator relationships and drive marketplace growth; occasional travel may be required
- Own influencer event RSVPs across markets, including guest list strategy, invitations, RSVP tracking, and attendee engagement
- Drive event performance metrics including RSVPs, attendance, creator participation, social impressions, and engagement
- Source relevant high-impact closets for ongoing IRL partnerships (e.g. to be featured in our store popups) and monitor and adjust for performance
Operations & Feedback
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, creator engagement, and performance metrics
- Share product feedback, creator insights, and partnership opportunities with internal teams
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of experience in influencer marketing, sales, relationship-management or customer-facing roles
- You have proven experience building creator programs that scale (think: thousands of creators, and hundreds of interactions/month, not a handful of campaigns)
- You're an excellent communicator — friendly, clear, persuasive and collaborative over email, DMs, and phone
- You're highly organized and on top of every conversation, follow-up, and deadline
- You have a customer-first mindset and enjoy making people feel seen, heard, and excited to collaborate
- You're energized by fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple moving pieces
- You're resourceful and solutions-oriented — you'll find a way when the playbook doesn't exist
- You're excited to work at an early-stage startup and roll up your sleeves to make things happen
- You're deeply familiar with the influencer landscape and can spot who's up next, regardless of the market
- You love data and can effectively track metrics and prioritize across 1000s of creators
- You're motivated by a performance-based comp structure and comfortable operating without a fully fixed playbook on day one
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketplace or consumer app growth
- Early stage, fast-paced startup experience

Lead with your research credentials
Pickle operates in Science & Research, so applications that clearly articulate technical expertise, published work, or lab experience tend to stand out. Frame your background around the specific research problems Pickle is working to solve.
Confirm your visa type is supported before applying
Pickle sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT, so international students and early-career researchers have viable pathways. Verify which visa category your current status falls under before reaching out to their recruiting team.
Target roles that align with sponsored positions
Sponsorship at Science & Research firms like Pickle tends to concentrate in technical and research-focused roles. Focus your applications on positions that directly match your degree field to strengthen the specialty occupation case.
Apply early in OPT or CPT windows
If you're on F-1 OPT or CPT, timing matters. Approaching Pickle well before your work authorization expires gives both sides enough runway to complete paperwork and, if needed, initiate an H-1B petition without pressure.
Use Migrate Mate to surface verified sponsorship history
Researching whether a company genuinely sponsors can save time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify whether Pickle is actively hiring for roles that match your background.
Be ready to discuss your post-OPT plan
Science & Research employers like Pickle often want reassurance about long-term work authorization. Coming into interviews with a clear understanding of your H-1B eligibility timeline and transition plan signals that you've thought through the practical side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Pickle sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Pickle does sponsor H-1B visas. As a Science & Research company, Pickle has used the H-1B program to bring on skilled workers in technical roles requiring specialized knowledge. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every position, so it's worth confirming visa support directly with their recruiting team during the early stages of the application process.
Which visa types does Pickle sponsor?
Pickle sponsors H-1B visas as well as F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for international students. This makes Pickle accessible to candidates at multiple stages of their immigration journey, from students completing degrees to professionals seeking long-term work authorization. TN visa holders may also find relevant opportunities depending on the role.
What types of roles at Pickle are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Given Pickle's focus in Science & Research, sponsored roles tend to be technical and research-oriented. Positions requiring a specific degree in a scientific or engineering field are the strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship, since the role must qualify as a specialty occupation. General or administrative roles are less likely to be sponsored.
How do I find open roles at Pickle that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find roles at companies like Pickle that have a verified sponsorship history. Rather than guessing from a standard job listing, you can filter by visa type and see which positions are realistically open to international candidates, saving time and avoiding applications that lead nowhere.
How do I approach the application process at Pickle as an international candidate?
Start by identifying roles that align closely with your degree and technical background, since specialty occupation fit is central to H-1B eligibility. Apply early relative to any visa deadlines, be transparent about your work authorization status in initial conversations, and come prepared to discuss your timeline and the visa types you qualify for.
