Target roles in project management and technical consulting
PMA Consultants operates at the intersection of construction management and advisory services. Roles in project controls, scheduling, cost management, and owner representation are where sponsorship activity tends to concentrate, align your application to these functions.
Position your degree in engineering or construction management
H-1B sponsorship at PMA typically supports specialty occupations requiring a directly related degree. Civil engineering, construction management, and architecture credentials are strong fits, make your degree-to-role connection explicit in your resume and cover letter.
Understand PMA's Green Card track record before applying
PMA has sponsored both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, signaling long-term investment in select employees. If permanent residency is your goal, ask about their PERM process and typical timelines during the offer stage, not after.
OPT and CPT candidates should apply early
PMA sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it accessible for recent graduates in construction-related fields. Because OPT windows are time-sensitive, approach PMA well before your authorization expires, ideally while you're still in your program.
Use a platform that filters by real sponsorship history
Not every construction firm sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, search for PMA Consultants directly to see current openings and confirm active sponsorship before you invest time applying.
Emphasize large-scale project experience in your application
PMA works on complex capital projects for public and private owners. Candidates who can demonstrate experience on large infrastructure, commercial, or real estate development projects are a stronger fit for the technical roles PMA typically sponsors.
