INTRODUCTION
PsiQuantum’s mission is to build the first useful quantum computers—machines capable of delivering the breakthroughs the field has long promised. Since our founding in 2016, our singular focus has been to build and deploy million-qubit, fault-tolerant quantum systems. Quantum computers harness the laws of quantum mechanics to solve problems that even the most advanced supercomputers or AI systems will never reach. Their impact will span energy, pharmaceuticals, finance, agriculture, transportation, materials, and other foundational industries. Our architecture and approach is based on silicon photonics. By leveraging the advanced semiconductor manufacturing industry—including partners like GlobalFoundries—we use the same high-volume processes that already produce billions of chips for telecom and consumer electronics. Photonics offers natural advantages for scale: photons don’t feel heat, are immune to electromagnetic interference, and integrate with existing cryogenic cooling and standard fiber-optic infrastructure. In 2024, PsiQuantum announced government-funded projects to support the build-out of our first utility-scale quantum computers in Brisbane, Australia, and Chicago, Illinois. These initiatives reflect a growing recognition that quantum computing will be strategically and economically defining—and that now is the time to scale. PsiQuantum also develops the algorithms and software needed to make these systems commercially valuable. Our application, software, and industry teams work directly with leading Fortune 500 companies—including Lockheed Martin, Mercedes-Benz, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Mitsubishi Chemical—to prepare quantum solutions for real-world impact. Quantum computing is not an extension of classical computing. It represents a fundamental shift—and a path to mastering challenges that cannot be solved any other way. The potential is enormous, and we have a clear path to make it real. Come join us.

Document Cleanroom and High-Voltage Experience
PsiQuantum builds and maintains quantum hardware facilities with strict electrical tolerances. Assembling a portfolio of past cleanroom, semiconductor fab, or data center electrical projects gives hiring managers and immigration attorneys the evidence they need to justify sponsorship.
Target PsiQuantum Roles Through Migrate Mate
Filter open Electrician positions at PsiQuantum by visa type on Migrate Mate to confirm which roles currently list sponsorship. This saves time researching individual postings and surfaces active openings matched to your authorization status.
Confirm Prevailing Wage Tier Early With Your Recruiter
DOL prevailing wage determinations for electricians in Palo Alto and Houston, where PsiQuantum operates, can affect both your offer and the LCA filing timeline. Asking the recruiter which wage tier the role is benchmarked against prevents surprises after the offer stage.
Align Your F-1 OPT Start Date With Facility Milestones
If you're on F-1 OPT, PsiQuantum's construction and commissioning phases create natural hiring windows. Coordinating your OPT start date with an active facility build cycle improves your chances of a full-time offer before your authorization window closes.
Prepare Your I-9 Documentation Before Your First Day
As a federal contractor, PsiQuantum uses E-Verify for employment eligibility. Having your List A or List B and C documents ready before your start date prevents E-Verify tentative nonconfirmation flags that can delay clearance for facility access.

Find Electrician at PsiQuantum JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PsiQuantum sponsor H-1B visas for Electricians?
Yes, PsiQuantum has sponsored H-1B visas and does so across multiple job functions including technical trades. For an Electrician role to qualify under the H-1B specialty occupation standard, the position typically needs to require at minimum a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a specific field, combined with licensed trade credentials. Roles tied to PsiQuantum's cleanroom and quantum hardware infrastructure tend to meet that bar.
How do I apply for Electrician jobs at PsiQuantum?
Applications go through PsiQuantum's careers page, where Electrician roles are listed under facilities and infrastructure. Browse open positions on Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship. Before applying, tailor your resume to reflect high-voltage, cleanroom, or semiconductor facility experience, since those qualifications align directly with PsiQuantum's operational environment.
Which visa types does PsiQuantum commonly sponsor for Electrician roles?
PsiQuantum sponsors across several work visa categories for Electrician positions, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, and J-1 for exchange visitors. The right visa depends on your nationality and current status. Each pathway has different employer filing requirements, so clarifying which category applies to you early in the process is important.
What qualifications does PsiQuantum expect for sponsored Electrician positions?
PsiQuantum's Electrician roles are tied to high-spec facility builds for quantum computing hardware, not standard commercial construction. Expect requirements around a journeyman or master electrician license, experience with cleanroom environments, semiconductor fabs, or data centers, and familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Experience reading technical drawings for specialized lab infrastructure is a practical differentiator in the hiring process.
How do I time my visa filing if I receive an Electrician offer from PsiQuantum?
Timing depends on your visa category. H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed once per year with a lottery in March and an October 1 start date, so an offer in spring may require waiting a full cycle. E-3 and TN visas move faster and can be processed at consulates or ports of entry without the cap constraint. USCIS premium processing is available for H-1B filings and reduces adjudication to around 15 business days.
