Align your credentials to U.S. electrical standards
RoviSys works on industrial and manufacturing systems, so document your experience with PLC panels, motor controls, and low-voltage wiring in U.S. or equivalent standards. OSHA 10 or 30 certification strengthens your profile before you apply.
Target RoviSys openings requiring systems integration experience
RoviSys hires electricians who support automation projects, not just facility maintenance. Filter open roles by keywords like 'controls,' 'commissioning,' or 'field service' to find positions where your background aligns with their project-based work model.
Understand how TN status applies to your role
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, TN classification for electricians requires the role to qualify as a listed profession under USMCA. Confirm the specific job title and duties align before accepting an offer, since misclassified titles can cause entry issues at the border.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the offer stage
RoviSys sponsors multiple visa types, but not every open position is pre-approved for sponsorship. Ask the recruiter directly during the screening call which visa types the hiring team has budgeted for that specific role before investing in interviews.
Use Migrate Mate to surface RoviSys electrician openings
Search Migrate Mate to find and filter RoviSys electrician roles verified for visa sponsorship. This saves time compared to manually screening job boards where sponsorship eligibility is often unlisted or buried in the application process.
Plan your F-1 OPT timeline around project-based hiring cycles
RoviSys staffs electricians around project starts, which tend to cluster in Q1 and Q3. If you're on F-1 OPT, apply at least 90 days before your authorization end date to leave room for onboarding and any USCIS processing delays.

Find Electrician at RoviSys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does RoviSys sponsor H-1B visas for Electricians?
Yes, RoviSys has a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for technical roles including electricians. Because H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, the role will typically need to involve advanced systems integration, controls engineering, or automation work rather than general facility maintenance. Confirm the specific position's sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter before proceeding.
How do I apply for Electrician jobs at RoviSys?
Applications go through RoviSys's careers page, where you can filter by role type and location. You can also find RoviSys electrician roles verified for visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which lets you filter specifically for positions open to international candidates. Tailor your resume to highlight industrial automation, panel wiring, and any commissioning experience relevant to their manufacturing client base.
Which visa types does RoviSys commonly use for Electrician roles?
RoviSys sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for electrician positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates in electrical or automation-related programs. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals where the role meets USMCA profession criteria. H-1B is the longer-term path for candidates requiring employer-sponsored status beyond OPT.
What qualifications does RoviSys expect for Electrician positions?
RoviSys typically looks for hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, including low-voltage controls, PLCs, and motor drive wiring in manufacturing environments. A degree or technical certification in electrical technology, controls, or a related field supports visa eligibility. Experience with commissioning or field service on automation projects is a strong differentiator given RoviSys's project-based delivery model.
How do I time my application to RoviSys given visa processing timelines?
H-1B petitions can only be filed starting April 1 for an October 1 start date, so plan backwards from that window if you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship. For TN and F-1 OPT roles, processing is faster, but RoviSys's hiring often follows project staffing cycles. Starting your outreach at least three to four months before your target start date gives both sides adequate runway.
