Get Your Electrical Credentials Evaluated Early
If you trained outside the U.S., have your foreign electrical certifications evaluated by a NACES-recognized credential evaluation service before applying. RoviSys project work often requires demonstrating equivalency to U.S. journeyman or apprenticeship standards, and delays here slow everything down.
Target RoviSys Openings Tied to Manufacturing Projects
RoviSys staffs Control Electricians for client manufacturing projects, so roles can open and close quickly. Focus your search on positions tied to specific plant automation or systems integration work, where project timelines create genuine urgency to fill technical field roles.
Confirm TN Eligibility Before Applying If Canadian or Mexican
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, the TN visa can support certain engineering-adjacent roles without lottery risk. Verify with RoviSys's HR team during the offer stage whether your specific Control Electrician duties align with a qualifying TN occupation category.
Ask About H-1B Filing Timelines During Offer Negotiations
The H-1B cap-subject lottery runs once per year, with registrations in March and employment starting October 1 at the earliest. Raise this timeline directly with your RoviSys recruiter so both sides plan around it and the offer structure reflects the waiting period.
Document Hands-On PLC and Panel Wiring Experience Precisely
RoviSys Control Electrician work centers on PLC systems, panel fabrication, and field installation in manufacturing environments. Your resume and any supporting materials should list specific platforms you've worked on, such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens, because vague experience descriptions will not support a specialty occupation petition.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Active RoviSys Openings
Sponsorship-friendly Control Electrician roles at RoviSys don't always surface on general job boards with visa information attached. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified RoviSys listings filtered by visa type so you apply to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed.

Find Control Electrician at RoviSys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does RoviSys sponsor H-1B visas for Control Electricians?
Yes, RoviSys has sponsored H-1B visas for Control Electrician roles. Because these positions involve specialized work on PLC systems and industrial automation in manufacturing environments, they can qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B requirements. You'll need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to support the petition. Confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter early in the process, since not every opening may be designated for sponsorship.
How do I apply for Control Electrician jobs at RoviSys?
You can apply directly through RoviSys's careers page or find their visa-sponsoring Control Electrician openings on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa type so you know sponsorship is on the table before you apply. Tailor your application to highlight hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, panel wiring, and specific PLC platforms, as RoviSys's project-based work demands demonstrable field competency from day one.
Which visa types does RoviSys commonly use for Control Electrician roles?
RoviSys has sponsored H-1B visas for Control Electricians and has also worked with candidates on F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT, which are common pathways for recent graduates from U.S. engineering or technology programs. TN status is another option for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the role maps to a qualifying occupation. The right visa depends on your citizenship, current status, and the specific duties of the position you're offered.
What qualifications does RoviSys expect for Control Electrician positions?
RoviSys typically looks for candidates with practical experience in industrial electrical installation, panel fabrication, and PLC-based control systems used in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with platforms like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell Automation is a strong differentiator. For visa sponsorship purposes, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field, or a documented combination of equivalent education and hands-on experience, will be central to supporting your petition.
How do I manage the timeline between a job offer and H-1B approval at RoviSys?
The H-1B cap-subject process runs on a fixed annual cycle: USCIS opens lottery registration in March, selections are announced in the spring, and the earliest employment start date is October 1. If you receive an offer from RoviSys outside an active OPT or other valid status period, you may face a gap of several months. Discuss bridging options with RoviSys HR early, and confirm whether premium processing is available to reduce USCIS adjudication time after selection.
