Frame your resume around PLC and SCADA experience
RoviSys Systems Engineer roles lean heavily on industrial automation skills like PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and process control. Highlight specific platforms you've worked with so your application reads as ready-to-deploy, not ready-to-train.
Target RoviSys openings tied to manufacturing verticals
RoviSys serves industries like food and beverage, life sciences, and chemicals. Applying to openings aligned with a vertical you've worked in strengthens your fit signal and gives you concrete talking points during interviews about client environments.
Align your offer timing with H-1B cap deadlines
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires employers to file petitions in April for an October 1 start. Getting an offer at least 60 days before the registration window opens gives RoviSys's HR team time to prepare without rushing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter RoviSys openings by visa type
Not every Systems Engineer opening at RoviSys lists sponsorship eligibility upfront. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for roles where sponsorship is available, so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't work for your situation.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation in advance
RoviSys operates in specialty occupation territory for H-1B purposes, meaning USCIS scrutinizes whether your degree directly relates to the role. Have a credential evaluation ready if your engineering degree is from outside the U.S.

Find Systems Engineer at RoviSys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does RoviSys sponsor H-1B visas for Systems Engineers?
Yes, RoviSys sponsors H-1B visas for Systems Engineers. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards because it requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field. If you're pursuing H-1B sponsorship, confirm your start date aligns with the October 1 cap-subject start window and discuss timing expectations with your recruiter early in the process.
How do I apply for Systems Engineer jobs at RoviSys?
You can browse and apply for Systems Engineer openings at RoviSys through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles with visa sponsorship available. RoviSys typically posts openings by practice area and manufacturing vertical, so narrowing your search to your technical background improves your chances. Tailor your resume to highlight automation platforms and any industry-specific project experience before submitting.
Which visa types does RoviSys commonly use for Systems Engineers?
RoviSys has sponsored Systems Engineers on H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with a qualifying engineering degree and is processed relatively quickly compared to H-1B. If you're on OPT or CPT, be upfront about your authorization end date so RoviSys can plan the H-1B transition if needed.
What qualifications does RoviSys expect for a Systems Engineer role?
RoviSys Systems Engineer roles generally require a bachelor's degree in electrical, chemical, mechanical, or computer engineering. Practical experience with industrial automation tools, including PLC programming, HMI development, and process instrumentation, carries significant weight. Client-facing project experience in manufacturing environments like food and beverage, life sciences, or oil and gas aligns well with the verticals RoviSys serves most frequently.
How do I manage the visa sponsorship timeline when targeting RoviSys?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, the critical window is the USCIS registration period each March for an October 1 start date. Getting an offer several months ahead of that window gives your employer time to prepare the Labor Condition Application with DOL and submit the H-1B petition without last-minute pressure. If you're on OPT, your 60-day grace period does not count as authorized work, so plan your job search accordingly.
