Align your credentials to PLC and SCADA work
RoviSys projects center on industrial automation, so document hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers and SCADA platforms in your resume. Employers filing LCAs with DOL need to match your credentials to a defined specialty occupation, so specificity here strengthens your petition.
Target RoviSys through its project verticals
RoviSys operates across discrete manufacturing, process industries, and life sciences. Identifying which vertical your experience maps to and tailoring your application accordingly signals a direct fit, which matters when hiring managers are evaluating whether a role justifies sponsorship.
Browse open Electrical Engineer roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter RoviSys Electrical Engineer openings by visa type before you apply. Knowing which postings align with your current status, whether F-1 OPT, TN, or H-1B, saves time and helps you prioritize the strongest sponsorship fits.
Confirm TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Electrical Engineers qualify under the TN visa category for Canadian and Mexican citizens. Unlike H-1B, TN has no annual cap and no lottery, so if you hold that citizenship, it offers a faster path to authorization that RoviSys has used for this function.
Ask about the offer letter's job duties language
Before signing, review how the offer letter describes your role. USCIS scrutinizes whether Electrical Engineer duties constitute a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. Vague language around tasks can create issues during H-1B adjudication.

Find Electrical Engineer at RoviSys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does RoviSys sponsor H-1B visas for Electrical Engineers?
Yes, RoviSys sponsors H-1B visas for Electrical Engineers. The company works with international candidates in this function and has filed H-1B petitions for engineering roles. Because H-1B is subject to an annual cap and lottery, timing your application cycle correctly and engaging early with the recruiter about sponsorship intent are both important steps.
How do I apply for Electrical Engineer jobs at RoviSys?
Applications go through RoviSys's careers page, where postings are listed by role and location. You can also browse current Electrical Engineer openings at RoviSys filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to identify which roles align with your specific work authorization situation before you apply.
Which visa types does RoviSys commonly use for Electrical Engineer roles?
RoviSys sponsors H-1B visas for Electrical Engineers and also works with F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, as well as TN visas for Canadian and Mexican citizens. Each pathway has different timelines and eligibility requirements, so the right option depends on your nationality, current status, and when you need work authorization to begin.
What qualifications does RoviSys expect for Electrical Engineer positions?
RoviSys typically looks for a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, which is also a requirement for specialty occupation classification under an H-1B petition. Practical experience with industrial control systems, instrumentation, or automation platforms is valued heavily given the company's focus on manufacturing systems integration and project delivery.
How do I plan the timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship from RoviSys?
H-1B registration opens in March, with USCIS conducting the lottery shortly after. If selected, petitions are filed for an October 1 start date. To work this timeline, aim to have an offer and complete your petition documentation well before the March registration window. If you're on F-1 OPT, your cap-gap protection covers the period between OPT expiration and the October start date, provided your petition was filed on time.
