Tailor Your Resume for PLC and SCADA Work
RoviSys Controls Engineer roles consistently require hands-on experience with platforms like Rockwell, Siemens, or DeltaV. Highlight specific automation projects by industry vertical, not just job titles, so your credentials match their project-based hiring model.
Target Open Roles by Industry Vertical
RoviSys staffs Controls Engineers across pharma, food and beverage, and industrial manufacturing. Applying to roles aligned with your specific process control background improves your chances of clearing the technical screen before sponsorship discussions begin.
Understand Where TN Fits Your Situation
Canadian and Mexican engineers should confirm their degree maps to an eligible TN occupation under USMCA. For Controls Engineers, a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering typically supports the TN classification, and the process moves faster than H-1B filing timelines.
Ask About H-1B Cap Timing During Offer Negotiations
H-1B registration opens each March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, ask RoviSys whether they'll file a cap-exempt petition or bridge your status another way so you understand your authorized work start date.
Browse Verified Controls Engineer Openings on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Controls Engineer jobs at RoviSys by visa type so you only see roles where your sponsorship category is confirmed. This saves time and helps you apply with full context before the first interview.

Find Controls Engineer at RoviSys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does RoviSys sponsor H-1B visas for Controls Engineers?
Yes, RoviSys has an active track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Controls Engineer roles. If you're currently on OPT or another nonimmigrant status, it's worth raising sponsorship during the offer stage. H-1B registration typically occurs in March through USCIS, with employment starting October 1, so offer timing matters.
How do I apply for Controls Engineer jobs at RoviSys?
You can browse and apply for Controls Engineer openings at RoviSys through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you know upfront which roles align with your status. Applications typically require a resume highlighting PLC, SCADA, or DCS experience along with relevant project history in manufacturing or process automation environments.
Which visa types does RoviSys commonly sponsor for Controls Engineers?
RoviSys sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Controls Engineer positions, and also hires through the TN visa for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT is often the starting point for recent graduates, while TN offers a faster path for qualifying North American engineers without the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does RoviSys expect for a Controls Engineer role?
RoviSys typically looks for a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering alongside hands-on experience with industrial automation platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or Emerson DeltaV. Familiarity with a specific manufacturing vertical like pharma, food and beverage, or oil and gas tends to strengthen your candidacy for project-aligned openings.
How do I time my application around visa sponsorship processing at RoviSys?
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply early enough that an offer can be structured before your authorized period expires. For H-1B, USCIS registration runs each spring for an October start date, so a winter or spring offer gives RoviSys enough lead time to file. TN status can typically be obtained at the port of entry, making it a faster option if you qualify.
