Align your credentials to power systems standards
Saber's Service Engineer roles center on high-voltage equipment and field diagnostics. Before applying, verify your engineering degree and any certifications map to electrical power systems, not general mechanical or industrial fields, since USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation fit closely.
Target open roles in Saber's field service footprint
Saber posts Service Engineer openings across multiple regions tied to client project sites. Search by location and match your availability for field travel, since roles with on-site client requirements often have faster hiring timelines and clearer sponsorship precedent.
Browse verified sponsoring roles through Migrate Mate
Filter Service Engineer openings at Saber Power Services by visa type on Migrate Mate, where sponsorship-confirmed roles are surfaced directly so you're not guessing which positions support F-1 OPT, TN, or Green Card pathways before you apply.
Clarify TN eligibility before your first interview
Canadian and Mexican engineers can enter on TN status if the role qualifies under engineer categories, but the job title and duties must align precisely with USMCA definitions. Confirm with Saber's HR team that the Service Engineer position satisfies those criteria before accepting an offer.
Understand the PERM timeline if targeting Green Card
If Saber sponsors you for EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification through DOL typically adds six months or more before the I-140 petition stage. Factor this into your planning if you're transitioning off OPT, since your authorized work period must cover the full process.
Prepare field experience documentation for sponsorship petitions
Saber's Service Engineer roles require demonstrable hands-on experience with power equipment. Collect employer letters, project records, or safety certifications that document specific field tasks, since USCIS petitions for engineering roles require evidence beyond a degree alone.

Find Service Engineer at Saber Power Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Saber Power Services sponsor H-1B visas for Service Engineers?
Saber Power Services' primary documented sponsorship pathways for Service Engineers include F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and Green Card routes such as EB-2 and EB-3. H-1B sponsorship is not prominently listed among their known visa types for this role, so confirming H-1B eligibility directly with Saber's HR team before applying is the right move.
How do I apply for Service Engineer jobs at Saber Power Services?
You can find and apply for Service Engineer openings at Saber Power Services through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles with confirmed visa sponsorship so you know the position supports your status before you apply. Review the specific job description carefully, as Saber's Service Engineer roles vary by region and required equipment specialization, and tailor your application to reflect hands-on power systems experience.
Which visa types does Saber Power Services commonly use for Service Engineer roles?
Saber Power Services has documented sponsorship across F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, EB-2, and EB-3 for Service Engineer positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are most relevant for recent graduates, TN covers qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals under USMCA engineer categories, and EB-2 or EB-3 applies to candidates pursuing permanent residence through PERM labor certification.
What qualifications does Saber Power Services expect for Service Engineer roles?
Saber's Service Engineer positions typically require an electrical engineering degree or closely related field, given the company's focus on power systems consulting and field service. Hands-on experience with high-voltage equipment, transformer testing, or substation commissioning is commonly expected. USCIS requires specialty occupation petitions to show a direct relationship between the degree field and the specific job duties, so general engineering backgrounds without power systems relevance may face scrutiny.
How do I plan my timeline if Saber Power Services sponsors my Green Card?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 at Saber involves DOL PERM labor certification followed by an I-140 petition filed with USCIS. PERM alone can take six to twelve months depending on DOL processing queues. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, confirm your authorized period is long enough to bridge the process, or discuss whether the company will support an H-1B or TN bridge while the Green Card progresses.
