Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
About the role:
Samsara is looking for an Enterprise Sales Operations Manager to play a critical role in scaling systems, processes and policies for our Enterprise Sales organizations. This role will partner with senior leaders across Samsara's go-to-market teams to design, build and run critical business capabilities for our world-class sales organization. This leader will have an outsized impact on the future of our sales organization by helping us Build for The Long Term as we grow beyond $1BN in revenue. The ideal candidate has experience driving transformative initiatives that bring together people, process and technology into elegant solutions to business problems related to all aspects of the sales experience.
This is a fully remote opportunity.
This role is open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.
You should apply if:
- You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
- You have innate curiosity in how businesses work: One day you'll meet with someone in waste management and the next you may be learning about the inner workings of a food distribution center. Our top sales team members seek to learn the ins and outs of the businesses they support in order to make a larger impact.
- You build genuine relationships with your customers: The industries we serve have relied on pen-and-paper solutions for years and haven't been met with the type of technology we offer. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.
- You want to be with the best: Samsara's high-performance culture means you'll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.
- You are a team player: At Samsara, sales is a team sport. We help each other out by sharing best practices and focus on winning as a team.
In this role, you will:
- Partner closely with Manager to VP-level Sales Leadership to optimize our Enterprise Sales motion, ensuring scalable, efficient processes that drive ACV, retention and expansion.
- Lead large cross-functional programs focused on improving Sales outcomes, including process redesign, tooling enhancements, and analytics-driven improvements.
- Intake, assess, and prioritize Sales-specific requests and process gaps based on business impact and effort, developing a roadmap aligned to core Sales goals.
- Develop and maintain operational metrics that uncover inefficiencies or risks within the seller workflow; provide actionable insights and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Systems and RevOps teams to enhance automation, deliver scalable tooling, define business requirements, conduct UAT, and manage end-user communications.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for this role:
- 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations roles supporting cross-functional sales organizations within a fast-paced, iterative, forward-thinking SaaS environment.
- This is a high impact position with high internal visibility that requires strong priority management and high emotional intelligence.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in Sales workflows through cross-functional project management and build long-term solutions.
- Advanced in Excel.
- Advanced in Salesforce.com and proficient in sales tech stack tools.
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with a track record of leading complex projects from strategy through execution.
- Analytical mindset and ability to use data to influence sales strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and experience translating policy/process into field-facing resources and guidance.
- Bachelor's degree from a top university; focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred. MBA optional.
- Salesforce Administration Experience is a plus but not required.
Total Rewards
At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.
Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you're ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.
Flexible Working
At Samsara, we embrace a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teams. Frame Your RevOps Credentials Around Hardware GTM
Samsara operates at the intersection of hardware, IoT, and SaaS. Highlight experience with hardware sales cycles, usage-based pricing models, or field operations data in your application materials to align with how their RevOps function is structured.
Target Roles Requiring CRM and Data Stack Depth
Samsara's Revenue Operations openings consistently emphasize Salesforce administration, data pipeline management, and cross-functional analytics. Certifications or project experience in these tools strengthen your candidacy and give hiring managers a concrete reason to initiate sponsorship.
Clarify Your OPT or CPT Timeline Before Applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your remaining authorization window before your first recruiter screen. Samsara's RevOps interview process can span six to ten weeks, so confirming you have sufficient runway prevents complications during offer negotiation.
Confirm LCA Obligations During Offer Negotiation
Before signing, verify that Samsara files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for your work location. For Revenue Operations Manager roles, the LCA wage level directly affects your H-1B petition's compliance standing.
Search Verified Sponsoring Employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to browse Revenue Operations Manager openings at Samsara filtered by visa type. This lets you confirm active sponsorship availability for your specific situation before investing time in the application process.
Account for Cap-Subject H-1B Lottery Timing in Your Plan
If you're not currently in H-1B status, USCIS accepts cap-subject registrations only in March for an October 1 start date. Build your Samsara job search timeline backward from that window to avoid gaps in work authorization.

Find Revenue Operations Manager at Samsara JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Samsara sponsor H-1B visas for Revenue Operations Managers?
Yes, Samsara sponsors H-1B visas for Revenue Operations Manager roles. The company has a consistent record of filing petitions for this function, which is classified as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Sponsorship is typically discussed during the offer stage, so it's practical to raise it once you have a verbal offer in hand rather than during early screening calls.
Which visa types are commonly used for Revenue Operations Manager roles at Samsara?
H-1B is the most common pathway for Revenue Operations Manager roles at Samsara, particularly for candidates transitioning from F-1 OPT or CPT. Samsara also supports TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management and analytical roles, as well as employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 categories for longer-tenured employees pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications and experience does Samsara expect for Revenue Operations Manager positions?
Samsara's Revenue Operations Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a quantitative field, along with hands-on experience in Salesforce administration, revenue forecasting, and cross-functional GTM execution. Familiarity with hardware or IoT sales motions is a practical differentiator given Samsara's connected operations model. Experience supporting quota-setting, territory design, or pipeline analytics in a high-growth environment is consistently valued across their open roles.
How do I apply for Revenue Operations Manager jobs at Samsara?
You can browse and apply for Revenue Operations Manager positions at Samsara through Migrate Mate, which surfaces Samsara's open roles filtered by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. On Samsara's careers page, applications go through an ATS screening followed by a recruiter call, functional interviews assessing analytical and operational skills, and a final loop with cross-functional stakeholders. Raise sponsorship requirements during the recruiter screen to avoid late-stage misalignments.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Samsara Revenue Operations Manager role?
If you're on F-1 OPT and need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in early March each year for an October 1 start date. Work backward from that March window when timing your Samsara application. If you're selected in the lottery, your employer files the full petition by late March. F-1 OPT STEM extension holders get 24 additional months of authorization, which can bridge any gap between OPT expiration and H-1B activation.
