About Snorkel
At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.
We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager, Growth to own and scale our paid acquisition engine within Snorkel’s rapidly growing Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business. Our DaaS business sources expert contributors — Masters and PhD holders across STEM, engineering, law, medicine, and other specialized domains — to perform high-quality AI training work for the world’s leading AI labs.
This role reports to the Head of Supply and is responsible for turning ad spend into qualified, domain-matched contributors while maintaining a sustainable cost to acquire. You will own and manage our paid acquisition strategy, partnering with analytics and GTM teams to develop demand forecasting models using Salesforce and sales pipeline signals, manage the deployment of domain-specific advertisements at scale, and design the dashboards that keep the team honest about performance.
This is a high-impact role for an operator who is equally comfortable building growth models and managing campaign performance in spreadsheets, while aligning with finance to present on spend efficiency and lifetime value. You will work closely with Supply Operations and GTM to ensure that acquisition channels and spend targets are aligned to real demand signals, while ensuring that we are bringing the right users through our funnel.
What You’ll Do
- Own and execute the end-to-end paid acquisition strategy for sourcing expert contributors across specialized domains
- Manage ad channel strategy across LinkedIn and other paid channels — including ad deployment, budget allocation, audience targeting, and creative iteration
- Work with engineering and analytics to ensure that we have proper data attribution across all channels and campaigns, while driving deeper understanding around organic traffic
- Align with associates and coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure rapid deployment and updates to campaigns
- Shift our operating model from reactive to proactive: develop clear growth signals from sales pipeline data, translating confirmed demand and unconfirmed opportunities into actionable sourcing targets by domain
- Design and own the growth operations dashboard in partnership with Analytics, covering marketing-layer metrics (impressions, clicks, cost per sign-up) and platform-layer metrics (activation rate, CAC, domain match rate)
- Manage weekly campaign performance reporting: flag underperforming campaigns, recommend budget reallocation, and surface spend efficiency trends to leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in growth operations, performance marketing, demand generation, or related roles in high-growth or operationally complex environments
- Proven experience managing paid acquisition campaigns at scale — ideally across LinkedIn, job boards, or talent/marketplace platforms
- Experience building demand forecasting models, including scenario-based planning (conservative/base/aggressive)
- Strong analytical skills using SQL
- Track record of managing or coordinating cross-functional teams to execute campaign operations at speed
- Prior experience with operations-heavy business models such as marketplaces, on-demand services, staffing, or workforce platforms
- Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces — comfortable building processes from scratch in imperfect systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting spend efficiency and growth metrics to senior stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, strong prioritization skills, and a bias toward action
Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Snorkel also includes benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
The salary range for this position based off of tier 1 locations such as San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Seattle and is $160,000-$200,000. All offers include equity compensation in the form of employee stock options.

Frame your AI program experience precisely
Snorkel AI builds data-centric AI tooling, so your resume should highlight program management work tied to ML pipelines, data annotation workflows, or model deployment cycles rather than generic software delivery. Generic PMO experience will not stand out here.
Confirm H-1B specialty occupation alignment early
Project Program Manager roles can face USCIS scrutiny over specialty occupation status. Pair your application materials with evidence that the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or information systems, not just general business.
Time your application around H-1B cap registration
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, Snorkel AI must register you in the March lottery window. Start conversations with their recruiting team well before February so internal approvals and an LCA filing with DOL can be completed before the registration deadline.
Use OPT STEM extension windows strategically
F-1 candidates on standard OPT have a 60-day grace period after employment ends. If you are targeting Snorkel AI specifically, prioritize your application so an offer and I-983 training plan are in place before your OPT authorization expires, giving both sides time to process paperwork.
Search Snorkel AI roles through Migrate Mate
Filter for Project Program Manager openings at Snorkel AI directly through Migrate Mate to see which roles are actively open to visa sponsorship candidates, so you are applying where the hiring intent matches your work authorization needs.
Prepare a cross-functional stakeholder map for interviews
Snorkel AI's program managers coordinate between research, engineering, and enterprise customers simultaneously. Interviewers will probe your ability to manage competing priorities across technical and non-technical teams, so prepare concrete examples from previous AI or data platform programs.

Find Project Program Manager at Snorkel AI JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Snorkel AI sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Snorkel AI has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. Because this role can attract specialty occupation scrutiny from USCIS, your offer letter and petition should clearly articulate that the position requires a degree in a specific technical discipline. Working with an immigration attorney before the cap registration window each March is the most reliable way to stay on track.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Program Manager roles at Snorkel AI?
H-1B and F-1 OPT are the most common pathways for Project Program Manager positions at Snorkel AI. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering categories. Each pathway has different timelines, so confirm which visa type applies to your situation before you begin the interview process rather than after you receive an offer.
What qualifications and experience does Snorkel AI expect for Project Program Manager roles?
Snorkel AI operates in the data-centric AI space, so hiring teams expect program managers who have coordinated technical programs involving machine learning infrastructure, data pipelines, or enterprise software delivery. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field strengthens your USCIS specialty occupation case. Experience managing cross-functional teams that include research scientists or ML engineers is a strong differentiator.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Snorkel AI?
You can browse active Project Program Manager openings at Snorkel AI through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles that are open to visa sponsorship candidates. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect program management work in AI, data labeling, or enterprise software contexts. Disclose your work authorization status early so the recruiter can confirm sponsorship availability before you invest significant interview time.
How do I manage the timeline between an offer and visa filing for a Project Program Manager role?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit the I-129 petition to USCIS, which takes a minimum of several months on standard processing. Premium processing with USCIS can reduce the adjudication window significantly. For F-1 OPT candidates, the I-983 training plan must be submitted to your Designated School Official within 10 days of employment starting.
