Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's framework
JPMorganChase's program management roles frequently reference internal delivery frameworks and Agile methodologies. A PMP certification or SAFe credential signals fluency in the structured, cross-functional environments their operations and technology divisions run.
Target roles within technology and operations first
Program Manager openings tied to JPMorganChase's technology transformation and wholesale banking operations divisions have historically driven the bulk of their professional visa filings. These business lines sponsor more consistently than corporate functions.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring program manager roles
Searching broadly across job boards surfaces roles that don't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter JPMorganChase Project Program Manager openings by visa type so you're only applying where sponsorship is already on the table.
Understand how JPMorganChase structures its LCA filings
JPMorganChase files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Ask your recruiter which business line will be your employing entity, since the LCA is tied to a specific wage level and worksite location.
Prepare for a multi-round process before the offer stage
JPMorganChase's program management hiring typically involves a hiring manager screen, a panel interview with stakeholders, and a case or presentation round. Visa sponsorship discussions happen at the offer stage, so complete the full loop before raising timeline questions.
Request the H-1B transfer timeline if you're already sponsored
If you're transferring an existing H-1B to JPMorganChase, USCIS allows you to start on your receipt notice under portability rules. Confirm with your JPMorganChase immigration contact whether they use premium processing for transfers, since standard processing can take several months.

Find Project Program Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles, particularly within its technology, operations, and wholesale banking divisions. Sponsorship is determined at the hiring manager and business line level, so the likelihood varies by team. Roles tied to large-scale technology transformation programs have historically been the most active for professional visa sponsorship.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Project Program Manager positions, covering candidates from most countries as well as Singaporean, Chilean, and Australian nationals specifically. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, JPMorganChase also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, typically after you've established tenure in the role.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal at careers.jpmorgan.com. You can also find open Project Program Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which removes the guesswork of identifying which postings are open to sponsored candidates. Tailor your resume to reflect cross-functional program delivery, budget ownership, and stakeholder management at scale.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Project Program Manager candidates?
JPMorganChase typically expects a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering, with several years of program management experience in a large, matrixed organization. A PMP certification strengthens your application. For senior roles, experience managing dependencies across multiple workstreams and a track record of delivering technology or operations programs is weighted heavily.
How do I understand the visa sponsorship timeline for a JPMorganChase program manager offer?
For new H-1B filings, JPMorganChase must file your petition before the April 1 cap deadline for an October 1 start date. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, a transfer can begin as soon as USCIS issues a receipt notice. H-1B1 and E-3 visas process through consular appointments and can move faster than cap-subject H-1B petitions.
