Align your cloud certifications to JPMorganChase's stack
JPMorganChase runs heavily on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Before applying, make sure your certifications and resume explicitly reflect experience with enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, not just academic or personal project exposure.
Target JPMorganChase's technology division directly
Roles posted under JPMorganChase's Software Engineering or Global Technology arm are far more likely to carry sponsorship approval than corporate function hires. Filter your search to engineering-specific job families, not general technology operations.
Get your LCA wage tier documentation ready early
JPMorganChase files Labor Condition Applications with DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Confirm your offered role aligns with the prevailing wage for your work location, since JPMorganChase operates across multiple metro markets with different wage thresholds.
Understand how JPMorganChase handles cap-exempt transfers
If you already hold an approved H-1B with another employer, JPMorganChase can file a portability transfer while you continue working. You don't need to wait for USCIS approval before starting, which significantly reduces the timeline risk.
Prepare for a multi-round technical process before the offer
JPMorganChase's Cloud Software Engineer interviews typically include a system design round and a coding assessment focused on distributed systems. Sponsorship conversations happen at the offer stage, so your technical performance drives whether you reach that point.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Cloud Software Engineer roles at JPMorganChase
Searching broadly wastes time on roles without active sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters JPMorganChase's Cloud Software Engineer openings specifically by visa type, so you apply only where your visa category is already supported.

Find Cloud Software Engineer at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Cloud Software Engineers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Cloud Software Engineers and is one of the more active financial services employers doing so. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an offer is extended, and JPMorganChase's in-house immigration team manages the process, including Labor Condition Application filing with DOL and I-129 petition submission to USCIS.
How do I apply for Cloud Software Engineer jobs at JPMorganChase?
Apply through JPMorganChase's careers portal or browse open Cloud Software Engineer roles filtered by visa sponsorship availability on Migrate Mate. The process typically involves an online application, a technical screen, one or two coding or system design interviews, and a final round before an offer is made. Sponsorship eligibility is confirmed at the offer stage.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Cloud Software Engineer roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Cloud Software Engineers, along with employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens on E-3 visas and Chilean or Singaporean nationals eligible for H-1B1 visas are both viable candidates. PERM labor certification is the typical starting point for Green Card sponsorship.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Cloud Software Engineer roles?
Most Cloud Software Engineer roles at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Enterprise-level experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines is commonly expected. Roles in regulated financial services environments may also require familiarity with compliance and security frameworks.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at JPMorganChase?
Timeline depends on your visa type and situation. For H-1B cap-subject cases, sponsorship is tied to the annual USCIS lottery, which opens in March for an October 1 start date. H-1B transfers and E-3 visas operate outside the cap, typically taking four to eight weeks. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship runs significantly longer, often 18 months or more from initiation.
