Frame your PMP credentials for consulting
Deloitte's project program managers are evaluated on client-facing delivery, not just internal operations. Certifications like PMP or Agile frameworks carry more weight when tied to outcomes on multi-stakeholder or cross-functional consulting engagements.
Target business units with active delivery pipelines
Deloitte's Government and Public Services and Technology practices run long-duration program management engagements. Roles tied to these practices tend to have more predictable sponsorship timelines because project pipelines extend well beyond H-1B cap season.
Clarify sponsorship scope before the offer stage
Deloitte sponsors multiple visa categories for this role. Ask your recruiter specifically which category applies to your situation before accepting an offer, since H-1B1 and E-3 holders face different filing deadlines and portability rules than H-1B candidates.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles by visa type
Deloitte posts Project Program Manager openings across multiple practice areas simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter live Deloitte listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you're targeting roles where your visa category is already supported.
Prepare for internal mobility questions at offer
Deloitte frequently moves program managers across client accounts and geographies. If your visa status requires a new LCA filing with each worksite change, confirm with HR how the company handles DOL compliance for consultant roles with variable client locations.

Find Project Program Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The company has an established immigration infrastructure that handles cap-subject H-1B filings, including premium processing where needed. If you're subject to the H-1B lottery, Deloitte's immigration team typically initiates the registration process early in the calendar year for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Apply directly through Deloitte's careers portal, or browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. Deloitte's Project Program Manager roles are posted across multiple practice areas, so searching by business unit, such as Consulting or Government and Public Services, helps narrow results to roles with active delivery pipelines where sponsorship is most commonly offered.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Project Program Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Project Program Manager positions, as well as supporting employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The visa category that applies to you depends on your nationality and current status. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, while Chilean and Singaporean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1, both of which bypass the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a Project Program Manager role?
Deloitte typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or information systems, combined with demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. PMP certification or equivalent Agile credentials strengthen your profile. For consulting-specific roles, client-facing delivery experience and familiarity with program governance frameworks are weighted heavily in the hiring evaluation.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Deloitte Project Program Manager offer?
Timeline depends on your visa category. E-3 and H-1B1 filings can be processed within a few weeks under consular processing. Cap-subject H-1B cases follow USCIS's annual lottery cycle, with an earliest start date of October 1. USCIS premium processing is available for H-1B petitions and reduces the adjudication window to 15 business days once your petition is filed.
