Position Overview

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot converting equipment
- Ensure efficient and safe machine operation to meet production goals and quality standards
- Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for complex equipment repairs and upgrades
- Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and production data
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks that operators need to perform to operate, maintain, and change over equipment successfully
- Assist in training and mentoring junior operators and technicians
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in machinery operation or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a Converting Equipment Specialist or similar role in a manufacturing setting
