Job Roles at Solenis Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Solenis Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical and engineering roles first
Solenis's sponsorship activity is concentrated in specialty chemicals and water treatment, fields that demand highly specialized degrees. Chemical engineers, process engineers, and R&D scientists are the strongest candidates for visa support at this company.
Apply before OPT deadlines, not after
Solenis operates on standard corporate hiring timelines. If you're approaching an OPT expiration, begin outreach and applications several months in advance, waiting until the last minute significantly reduces your chances of a smooth sponsorship transition.
Emphasize domain expertise in specialty chemicals
Solenis hires for niche technical knowledge in areas like polymer chemistry, industrial water treatment, and process optimization. Demonstrating deep subject matter expertise, not just general chemistry, makes sponsorship a much easier business case for the hiring team.
Research open roles that align with active hiring areas
Sponsorship likelihood increases when you apply to roles the company is actively filling with specialized talent. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus on positions where Solenis has actually supported visa candidates.
Canadian and Mexican candidates should flag TN eligibility
Solenis has filed TN visas, which applies to Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying occupations like engineering and scientific roles. TN sponsorship is faster and simpler than H-1B, so mentioning your eligibility upfront can make hiring easier for Solenis's HR team.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Solenis sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Solenis sponsors H-1B visas. Their sponsorship has been focused on technical and engineering talent within the specialty chemicals and water treatment space. Roles requiring specialized degrees in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields are the most likely to receive H-1B support. If you're targeting Solenis, aligning your application to those technical functions gives you the strongest shot.
Which visa types does Solenis sponsor?
Solenis sponsors a range of work visas including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1. This breadth is useful for international candidates at different stages, students on CPT or OPT can often get a foot in the door before needing an H-1B transfer. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles.
What types of roles at Solenis are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Solenis tends to follow the company's core business, specialty chemicals, water treatment technology, and industrial process solutions. Chemical engineers, R&D scientists, process engineers, and technical application specialists are the roles most commonly supported. Positions requiring a specific advanced degree in a technical field are a stronger fit for visa sponsorship than generalist or administrative roles.
How do I find currently open sponsored roles at Solenis?
The most efficient way is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company and visa type. Because Solenis's open roles can change frequently, checking a platform with real sponsorship data ensures you're applying to positions where international candidates have a realistic path to work authorization, rather than guessing from a general job listing.
How do I time my application to Solenis given visa processing requirements?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, keep in mind that cap-subject H-1B petitions are tied to an annual lottery in March, with employment starting October 1. Apply to Solenis well before that window, ideally securing an offer by late winter. If you're on OPT or CPT, that timeline pressure is reduced, since Solenis can hire you on existing authorization while pursuing longer-term sponsorship.
