Align your credentials with DOL classifications
Stoughton files Labor Condition Applications through DOL for sponsored roles. Review prevailing wage levels for manufacturing occupations in Wisconsin before applying so your salary expectations match what the company can certify without complications.
Target roles requiring specialized technical training
Production and quality engineering positions at trailer manufacturers like Stoughton are more likely to support EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship than general assembly roles. Focus your application on positions where your degree or advanced trade certification is explicitly required.
Confirm TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status covers certain engineering and technical roles in manufacturing without a lottery or cap. If your role at Stoughton falls under a qualifying TN occupation, this pathway can get you working significantly faster than an EB petition.
Find open Manufacturing roles at Stoughton on Migrate Mate
Filter by visa type and industry on Migrate Mate to surface Stoughton's current Manufacturing openings alongside their sponsorship history. This lets you target the specific roles that match your authorization status before you apply.
Prepare for PERM timeline realities before accepting an offer
EB-2 and EB-3 PERM filings require DOL-supervised recruitment and can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is filed. Clarify the expected sponsorship timeline with Stoughton's HR team during the offer stage, not after you've started.

Find Manufacturing at Stoughton Trailers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stoughton Trailers sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Stoughton Trailers does not appear in H-1B LCA disclosure data as a consistent filer for Manufacturing positions. Their sponsorship activity for this function is concentrated in EB-2, EB-3 Green Card pathways, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If you need H-1B sponsorship specifically, confirm directly with Stoughton's HR team whether any open role qualifies under specialty occupation criteria.
Which visa types does Stoughton Trailers commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
Stoughton Trailers sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Manufacturing professionals, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. TN visas are also supported for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or technical roles. The right pathway depends on your current status, degree, and the specific position you're applying for.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Stoughton Trailers?
Browse Stoughton Trailers' open Manufacturing positions on Migrate Mate, where you can filter roles by visa sponsorship type to confirm the position matches your work authorization needs. Apply directly through Stoughton's careers portal, and tailor your resume to emphasize technical skills relevant to trailer and commercial vehicle production, such as welding certifications, quality control experience, or manufacturing engineering credentials.
What qualifications does Stoughton Trailers expect for sponsored Manufacturing roles?
For EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship, Stoughton typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field, or demonstrated specialized experience in an equivalent trade role. Roles supporting PERM sponsorship must meet DOL's definition of a position that cannot be filled by a qualified U.S. worker, so your credentials need to match the job requirements precisely as written.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Manufacturing positions at Stoughton Trailers?
The timeline depends heavily on the visa category. F-1 OPT or CPT authorization can be in place within weeks of an offer. TN status for Canadian nationals can be processed at the border on the start date. EB-3 PERM sponsorship is a multi-stage process involving DOL recruitment, I-140 filing with USCIS, and, for most nationalities, a priority date wait that can extend for years. Build this into your planning before accepting an offer.
