Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Manufacturing Jobs at KLA Jobs
Align your resume to KLA's process focus
KLA's Manufacturing roles center on yield management, process control, and capital equipment. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with semiconductor fab environments, metrology systems, or cleanroom protocols rather than general manufacturing experience.
Use Migrate Mate to filter KLA's open Manufacturing roles
KLA's Manufacturing job board spans multiple sites and functions. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Manufacturing openings at KLA that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're not manually screening postings that won't lead anywhere.
Get your credentials evaluated before applying
KLA's Manufacturing engineering roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. If your degree is from outside the U.S., obtain a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before interviews so your qualifications are documented and ready.
Confirm LCA timelines with your recruiter early
For H-1B transfers or new petitions, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process the I-129. Raise the LCA timeline in your offer discussions so the process starts before your current status expires.
Prepare for multi-site interview rounds at KLA
KLA's Manufacturing hiring often involves cross-functional panel interviews across engineering, operations, and quality teams. Document specific examples of process improvement or yield-related work you've led, since these are consistent evaluation criteria for Manufacturing candidates.

Find Manufacturing at KLA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KLA sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, KLA sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing positions. The company has a consistent pattern of filing H-1B petitions for engineering and technical roles within its Manufacturing function. If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, KLA can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start work as soon as the petition is received by USCIS, without waiting for approval.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at KLA?
You can browse and apply for Manufacturing roles at KLA directly through their careers site or use Migrate Mate to filter KLA's open positions by role type and visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, highlight any experience with semiconductor equipment, cleanroom environments, or process control systems, since these are the qualifications KLA's Manufacturing hiring teams prioritize.
Which visa types does KLA commonly use for Manufacturing positions?
KLA sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for Manufacturing roles. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship typically becomes available after you've been employed with KLA for a period and the company initiates PERM labor certification through DOL.
What qualifications does KLA expect for Manufacturing roles?
Most Manufacturing engineering roles at KLA require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or materials engineering. Hands-on experience with semiconductor capital equipment, metrology tools, or yield improvement processes strengthens your candidacy significantly. Technician-level Manufacturing roles may accept an associate degree or equivalent experience, though visa sponsorship for those positions is less consistent than for engineering-track roles.
How do I time my application to KLA if my OPT is expiring soon?
If your OPT expiration is within six months, prioritize applying to Manufacturing roles that fall under STEM-designated categories, which qualify for a 24-month OPT extension. This extension gives KLA time to file an H-1B petition on your behalf in the next April lottery, with an October 1 start date. Raise your OPT timeline with the recruiter during initial screening so the team can plan the H-1B filing accordingly.
