Frame your HR credentials for financial services
TD Securities operates under strict regulatory and compliance requirements that shape how People Operations functions. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with financial services HR frameworks, FINRA-adjacent workforce policies, or regulated industry employee relations before you apply.
Identify open roles through structured job tracking
TD Securities posts People Operations Manager openings across multiple locations with varying scope. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for TD Securities roles that include visa sponsorship, so you're not wasting time on listings where sponsorship isn't confirmed.
Understand which visa fits your background
TD Securities sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Cards for this function. Australian citizens should prioritize the E-3 path, which avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. If you're already in the U.S. on OPT or CPT, confirm your cap-gap eligibility before your interview stage.
Prepare documentation before the offer stage
Investment banks move quickly once they decide to hire. Have your degree certificates, transcripts, and any professional HR certifications ready before the final round. USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation status for HR roles, so evidence that your degree directly supports the position matters.
Ask directly about the LCA filing timeline
The Labor Condition Application filed with DOL must be certified before your H-1B or E-3 petition can proceed. During offer negotiations, ask TD Securities' HR team how early in the onboarding process they initiate the LCA, since delays there push back your actual start date.
Align your start date with USCIS processing realities
H-1B cap-subject petitions have an October 1 start date, but E-3 petitions can be filed year-round with faster turnaround. When negotiating your start date with TD Securities, factor in a realistic USCIS processing window of two to four months for non-premium cases.

Find People Operations Manager at TD Securities JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for People Operations Managers?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for People Operations Manager roles. Because these positions require specialized HR expertise in a regulated financial services environment, they generally satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements. If you're subject to the H-1B lottery, be prepared for the April registration window and confirm with TD Securities that they intend to file on your behalf before accepting an offer.
Which visa types does TD Securities typically use for People Operations Manager roles?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for this function, along with employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens are well-positioned to pursue the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and can be processed at a U.S. consulate in Australia or through a change of status filing. The right visa depends on your nationality, current immigration status, and career timeline.
What qualifications and experience does TD Securities expect for People Operations Manager roles?
TD Securities typically looks for HR professionals with experience in financial services or another heavily regulated industry, covering areas like employee relations, talent acquisition, or HR business partnering. A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, or a related field is generally expected. Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR can strengthen your application, particularly if your degree field is not a direct match.
How do I apply for People Operations Manager jobs at TD Securities?
Search for People Operations Manager openings directly on TD Securities' careers page or use Migrate Mate to filter TD Securities roles that confirm visa sponsorship upfront, which saves time compared to applying broadly. Tailor your application to highlight HR experience in financial services or compliance-heavy environments. If you're on OPT or a current visa, note your authorization status clearly so the recruiter can assess sponsorship fit early in the process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take once TD Securities extends an offer?
For H-1B cap-subject cases, the timeline is largely dictated by the lottery registration window in March and the October 1 start date, meaning the process can span six months or more. E-3 consular processing at Australian posts generally moves faster, often within four to eight weeks of filing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is a separate, longer process that typically begins after you've established yourself in the role. Align your offer negotiation around these timelines from the start.
