Align your credentials to USMCA roles
TN admission is limited to specific USMCA professions, so confirm your degree and job title map to a listed category before applying. For engineering and consulting roles at Accura, engineers and management consultants are among the clearest fits on the professions list.
Research Accura's active roles on Migrate Mate
Search Accura Engineering and Consulting Services on Migrate Mate to surface open roles that align with TN-eligible categories. Filtering by visa type helps you target positions where Accura has a demonstrated pattern of supporting TN professionals rather than cold-applying broadly.
Request a detailed offer letter covering all TN requirements
Accura's offer letter must specify your professional category, job duties, anticipated length of stay, and employer details. Border officers and consular officers review this document closely, so request a comprehensive letter early and verify it addresses each required element before your admission appointment.
Prepare a degree equivalency memo if your credentials differ
If your engineering or consulting degree is from outside the U.S. or Canada and doesn't directly match the USMCA profession title, prepare a credential evaluation from a recognized evaluation service. Having this ready prevents delays when Accura's offer letter is reviewed at the port of entry.
Understand the Canadian versus Mexican admission difference
Canadian nationals present their TN documents directly at a U.S. port of entry and typically receive same-day admission. Mexican nationals must attend a U.S. consulate interview and obtain a visa stamp first. Build your start-date timeline with Accura accordingly, since consulate appointments can add several weeks.
Confirm your role title matches the offer letter precisely
Discrepancies between your resume job title, the USMCA profession category, and the title in Accura's offer letter are a leading reason for TN admission refusals. Before your appointment, cross-check all three against the O*NET occupation profile to ensure consistent, accurate language throughout your documents.
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. sponsor TN visas?
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, primarily within engineering and consulting. Rather than filing a petition, Accura issues an offer letter that you present at a port of entry or U.S. consulate. Roles must align with a recognized USMCA profession category for TN admission to apply.
Which roles at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. typically qualify for TN admission?
Engineering and management consulting positions are the most common TN-eligible roles at Accura, given the company's focus in the consulting and professional services sector. USMCA defines an exact list of qualifying professions, so your job title and primary duties must map directly to one of those categories. Confirm the match with your recruiter before accepting an offer.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from Accura?
After accepting an offer, request a formal TN support letter from Accura that includes your profession category, duties, salary, and employment period. Canadian nationals then present this letter at a U.S. port of entry. Mexican nationals schedule a consulate appointment through USCIS guidance and attend an interview before receiving a TN visa stamp. You can use Migrate Mate to track which Accura roles have supported TN candidates in the past.
How long does the TN admission process take at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc.?
Canadian nationals can typically complete TN admission in a single day at a port of entry, assuming documents are in order. Mexican nationals face a longer timeline tied to U.S. consulate appointment availability, which can range from a few weeks to over a month depending on the post. Build this into your start-date negotiation with Accura so both sides have realistic expectations.
Does Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. support TN renewals or extensions?
TN status is granted in up to three-year increments with no statutory limit on renewals, provided you remain in a qualifying role. Accura would issue a new or updated offer letter each time you seek renewal. Canadian nationals can renew at the border, while Mexican nationals must return to a consulate. Confirm Accura's internal process for renewal letters well before your current TN period expires.
How does TN visa admission work at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc.?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc., while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
