Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN admission requires your degree and job title to fall within a USMCA-listed profession. At Siemens Healthineers, roles in biomedical engineering, scientific research, and management consulting map cleanly to the list. Confirm your specific occupation code through O*NET before applying.
Target teams with recurring technical hiring
Siemens Healthineers consistently hires engineers and scientists across imaging, diagnostics, and laboratory systems. Focusing your search on these technical divisions raises your odds of landing a role whose duties clearly satisfy the USMCA specialty occupation requirement for TN admission.
Use Migrate Mate to find TN-eligible Siemens Healthineers roles
Migrate Mate surfaces Siemens Healthineers job listings verified against the company's visa sponsorship history. Filter for TN-eligible roles to avoid applying to positions in business units that don't support treaty-based admission, saving you time before outreach.
Request a detailed offer letter covering all TN requirements
Siemens Healthineers's offer letter must state your USMCA profession category, job duties, educational requirements, and employment period. Customs and Border Protection officers review this document at entry. A vague or incomplete letter is the most common reason TN admission is delayed or refused.
Prepare your degree credentials before the border appointment
Canadian nationals present TN documents directly at a port of entry without a prior visa stamp. Bring your original degree, official transcripts, and any professional licenses relevant to your Siemens Healthineers role. Certified translations are required for documents issued in languages other than English.
Understand consulate requirements if you are Mexican
Mexican nationals must obtain a TN visa stamp at a U.S. consulate before entry, unlike Canadians who apply at the border. Book your consulate appointment after Siemens Healthineers issues your offer letter, and confirm that your role's wage meets prevailing wage levels using the OFLC Wage Search.
Siemens Healthineers TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Siemens Healthineers sponsor TN visas?
Siemens Healthineers supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying USMCA roles. The company issues offer letters for eligible candidates in engineering, scientific, and consulting positions. TN is treaty-based admission, so there is no USCIS petition involved. You present your offer letter and credentials at the border or consulate directly.
Which roles and departments at Siemens Healthineers typically qualify for TN admission?
Roles in biomedical engineering, software engineering, scientific research, and management consulting align most consistently with the USMCA professions list at Siemens Healthineers. Clinical and laboratory science positions are also strong candidates. General business, sales support, or administrative roles rarely satisfy the specialty occupation and degree requirements that TN admission demands.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Siemens Healthineers offer?
Once Siemens Healthineers issues your offer letter, Canadian nationals proceed directly to a port of entry with their supporting documents. Mexican nationals schedule a consulate appointment to obtain a TN visa stamp first. In both cases, your offer letter must specify your USMCA profession, duties, and the degree requirement that makes the role eligible.
How long does TN admission typically take at Siemens Healthineers?
Canadian nationals can receive TN admission at the border the same day if documentation is complete. Mexican nationals face longer timelines tied to consulate appointment availability, which can range from a few weeks to several months depending on location. Starting your credential preparation as soon as Siemens Healthineers extends an offer reduces unnecessary delays.
How do I find open TN-eligible jobs at Siemens Healthineers?
Migrate Mate lists Siemens Healthineers roles filtered by visa sponsorship type, making it straightforward to identify positions the company actively supports for TN candidates. Cross-reference any role you find against the USMCA professions list and confirm your degree field matches the job's stated educational requirements before submitting your application.
How does TN visa admission work at Siemens Healthineers?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Siemens Healthineers, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
