Assistant Professor - Ecology and Evolution Biology
Job Summary
The Department of Biology at Tuskegee University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Ecology and Evolution beginning Fall 2026. - Teaching assigned biology courses, including lectures and laboratories.
- Preparing, maintaining, and organizing laboratory materials and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Developing syllabi, assessments, and course materials in alignment with institutional guidelines.
- Using varied teaching methods, instructional media, and technology to promote student learning and success.
- Advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, maintaining accessibility through office hours and electronic communication.
- Assessing and communicating with student progress in a timely manner.
- Contributing to curriculum development and program assessment.
- Maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and administration.
- Participating in departmental, divisional, and institutional meetings and submitting required reports.
