Target clinical and patient-facing roles first
Unity Health Care's sponsorship activity is concentrated in healthcare delivery roles. Physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals in direct patient care are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship, prioritize these when applying.
Understand the H-1B specialty occupation standard for healthcare
Healthcare roles at Unity must qualify as specialty occupations requiring a specific degree. Clinical positions tied to a medical or health sciences degree typically meet this threshold, general administrative or support roles are less likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
Engage Unity's HR team early about sponsorship intent
Community health organizations often evaluate sponsorship case by case. Raising your visa needs directly with Unity's recruitment team before interviews avoids late-stage surprises and helps both parties assess fit before investing in the process.
Align your application with underserved community health needs
Unity Health Care focuses on serving underserved populations. Applicants who can demonstrate experience in community health, federally qualified health center settings, or working with diverse patient populations will resonate strongly with Unity's hiring priorities.
Time your application around H-1B cap season
H-1B petitions for cap-subject employers like Unity must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. Start conversations with Unity's HR team by January or February to ensure your application is ready before the filing window opens.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Unity's sponsorship history before applying

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Unity Health Care sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Unity Health Care sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship history in the healthcare sector, with sponsorship focused on clinical and medical roles that qualify as H-1B specialty occupations. If you're a healthcare professional with the right credentials and a qualifying role, Unity is a legitimate H-1B sponsorship pathway worth pursuing.
What types of roles does Unity Health Care typically sponsor at?
Unity Health Care's sponsorship activity is concentrated in clinical and patient-care roles, positions like physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other licensed healthcare professionals. Roles that require a specific medical or health sciences degree are the strongest fit for H-1B sponsorship. Administrative, operational, or non-clinical support roles are less likely to be sponsored.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Unity Health Care?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find verified H-1B sponsoring employers like Unity Health Care. You can filter by company, industry, and visa type to surface roles with a real sponsorship track record rather than relying on job postings that don't disclose sponsorship intent. Applying through a verified list saves significant time during your job search.
What is the typical H-1B application timeline if I get an offer from Unity Health Care?
Once Unity Health Care extends an offer, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. For cap-subject filings, the registration window opens in March, with petitions filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. The full process from offer to work authorization typically takes four to six months under the standard route, or as little as a few weeks with premium processing.
Does Unity Health Care sponsor Green Cards for employees?
Unity Health Care's publicly available sponsorship history reflects H-1B activity as its primary visa type. Green Card sponsorship through employment-based categories is less commonly documented for community health organizations of this size, though individual cases depend on the role and the employee's situation. It's worth raising the question directly with Unity's HR team during the offer or onboarding stage.
