The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,500.00 - $133,100.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Do In This Role:
- Participates in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
- Write PLC code for semi-complex systems utilizing standard practices.
- Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.
- Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
- Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.
- Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.
- Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site. Interact directly with the customer on site.

What We Are Looking For:
- Current hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal preferred.
- Must demonstrate a working understanding of design, layout and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet.
- Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is expected.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current experience with the rigors of on-site startup/commissioning.
- Experience with material handling systems is preferred.
- 2-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.
- Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable
- Travel can range anywhere from 25% - 40% depending on the project and is typically on weekends and possibly over some holidays.
- 4 year degree or equal in a related discipline
