Focus your search on the entertainment, advertising, and tech sectors, which drive the heaviest creative designer hiring in Los Angeles. Studios and production companies in Hollywood and Culver City, agencies along Wilshire Corridor, and tech employers in Silicon Beach all post regularly. A portfolio that shows brand, digital, and motion work gives you a clear edge over candidates with print-only samples in this market.
Which companies hire creative designers in Los Angeles?

The local market includes a mix of major studios, global advertising agencies, consumer brands, and fast-growing tech companies, all of which maintain in-house creative teams.

Roles focused on UI, motion graphics, and digital content are the most commonly listed as remote in Los Angeles.
How can I get a creative designer job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is landing a junior or associate designer role at a mid-size agency or in-house team in the entertainment or tech sectors, where project volume creates real openings at the entry level.
