Base Pay Range:
$80,000 - $90,000
As an Pricing & Merchandising Data Solutions Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:
Data Management
- Compile and analyze Dealer Tire data related to Pricing, Merchandising & AOR.
- Audit and analyze large data sets to ensure accuracy in all information.
- Leverage new and existing technologies in most efficient ways possible (can include, but not limited to: data warehouse solutions, Alteryx, Snowflake, R-Studio, Excel, VBA, SQL Server Management Studio) to identify trends and make recommendations.
- Identify the components of a problem and apply appropriate analytics techniques to create solutions.
Analytics & Strategy
- Support Pricing, Merchandising, AOR, and Finance teams with advanced analytics and, if assigned, also provide support for all DT family companies.
- Assemble, manage and distribute operational reports and metrics, providing others with interpretations of the results and suggestions on actions to be taken.
- Utilize data & analytics to support Dealer Tire in achieving annual revenue and margin targets.
- Work collaboratively with other teams in the organization to develop solutions, including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Sales, Program Management, IT, Marketing.
- On an ad-hoc basis, provide support/analysis to Finance, Program Management, Sales, Supplier Relations, and Inventory Management.
- Collaborate with others in the organization to streamline data analytics and processes, ensuring consistent approach and strategy.
Financial Analysis
- Maintain/create tools to that accurately represent profitability in various ways for Pricing, Merchandising and AOR.
- Analyze gross margin impact and revenue impact of recommendations made to Pricing, Merchandising and AOR teams.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or business-related field required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a technical role focused on performance analytics, financial analysis, pricing/product analysis or other related business field.
- Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel and PowerBI required. Experience with Alteryx or other analytic process automation software preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Database, VBA, and SQL.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python) and visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Expertise with statistics, data modeling, and manipulation of large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain complex data bases.
- Strong analytical ability, including the ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information and to translate concepts into financial / operational models.
- Possess basic knowledge and understanding of business and finance/accounting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills with ability to succeed in a cross functional working environment.

Physical Job Requirements
