Data Analytics Manager Jobs in Chicago: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a data analytics manager job in Chicago?
Target Chicago's dominant hiring sectors: financial services in the Loop, healthcare systems anchored near the Medical District, and enterprise tech firms in Fulton Market. Candidates who combine hands-on SQL and Python skills with experience presenting to business stakeholders stand out here. Building visibility at Chicago-based data and analytics meetups and cultivating relationships with local hiring managers also gives you a practical edge in this competitive market.
Which companies hire data analytics managers in Chicago?
Employers hiring data analytics managers in Chicago right now include Deloitte, Google, and Huron Consulting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Chicago's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, large regional health systems, and fast-growing fintech and insurtech firms means demand comes from both established enterprises and scaling startups.
Are there remote data analytics manager jobs in Chicago?

About 52% of data analytics manager openings tied to Chicago are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. The most remote-friendly components tend to be independent analysis, reporting, and model review work, while team leadership and executive presentations typically pull managers into the office.
How can I get a data analytics manager job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a senior analyst or analytics lead role at a mid-size Chicago company, then stepping into management once you've demonstrated ownership of a full reporting function. Chicago's large insurance carriers, regional banks, and health tech firms frequently promote from within and hire analytical candidates willing to take on informal team coordination early. Building a portfolio of end-to-end analytics projects and seeking out team lead responsibilities in a current role accelerates that transition.

Chicago's position as a national hub for financial trading, a growing insurtech ecosystem, and one of the largest healthcare employer bases in the Midwest drives consistent demand across all three sectors.
