ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job coordinates and monitors the scheduling, budget, and technical performance of strategic programs. Ensures adherence to master program plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and leads team members assigned to programs on various project teams or departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as an advisor to leadership and program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Works on complex programs and exceptions without direct supervision.

Education
Required - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health science or related field.
Work Experience
Required - 7 years of project management experience.
Preferred - 5 years of consulting experience.
Certifications
Required - None
Preferred - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Change Agent, or AGILE Project Management).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Creates and develops prioritized PMO transformational roadmaps.
- Demonstrated success in providing strategic vision, implementation of best practice project management standards and KPI reporting and analysis.
- Manage and drive continuous development of PMO accelerators (templates, best practices, automation tools) for faster delivery.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Clickup, Jira).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Excellent judgement, decision making, and time management skills.
- Analytical skills and ability to use a logical thought process to formulate practical solutions to problems.
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.
- Ability to travel throughout and between facilities.
Job Duties
- Partner with business stakeholders to successfully manage all phases of the implementation lifecycle – requirements, analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure high quality and value-added communications, status reports, issue/risk and stakeholder management across business stakeholders, leadership, managers and project staff.
- Define master project plan in a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology governance framework and weekly work management cadence to ensure completion of deliverables and achievement of milestones.
- Champion the process of scrum sprints, retrospectives to create results oriented, high energy, high productivity morale building high performance teams.
- Formulates, organizes and monitors inter-connected projects in conjunction with complex and strategic teams.
- Works in tandem with relevant leadership and executives on decisions and strategies as they correlate to the function’s strategic plan and high visibility projects.
- Develops and supports the control of deadlines, budgets and activities.
- Manages the escalation of high priority risk mitigation and change management.
- Develops and reviews statements of work and high visibility project presentations as needed.
- Supports leadership in resource assignment(s) to projects and aids in the evaluation of project managers.
- Performs other related duties as required.
