Adobe is seeking a Senior Manager for Acrobat & Express Data Science. This role will lead data analysis related to audiences and customers for two of Adobe’s most exciting businesses: Acrobat and Adobe Express. Acrobat is one of Adobe’s largest and fastest-growing businesses, helping millions of customers around the world create, edit, share, sign, and manage documents across web and desktop experiences. Adobe Express is an exciting newer offering that brings the power of Adobe’s creative tools to a broader audience, making it easier for anyone to build standout content quickly and confidently. This role sits at the center of how we understand customer behavior, diagnose business performance, and guide growth strategy across these businesses. You will lead a team responsible for analyzing the full customer funnel—from monthly active users to paywall traffic, conversion, orders, and financial performance—across key surfaces such as web and desktop. The team goes deep into what customers do, which actions drive conversion, and how product, marketing, and GTM teams can sustain momentum and unlock new growth. This is a high-impact people leadership role at the intersection of data science, product analytics, marketing analytics, and business performance management. You will lead a distributed team of data scientists and work closely with senior leaders across Product, GTM, Marketing, and Finance to build strategy, set funnel goals, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into clear business action.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing distributed team of data scientists across the US and Europe.
- Own audience and customer analytics for Acrobat and Adobe Express, with a focus on understanding end-to-end customer behavior across the digital funnel.
- Analyze full-funnel performance across key surfaces, including web and desktop, from MAU to paywall traffic, conversion, orders, and ARR impact.
- Identify the customer behaviors, product actions, and engagement patterns that drive conversion, such as which Acrobat verbs and workflows lead users to purchase.
- Lead weekly business performance reviews and provide a clear narrative on what is driving performance, where the business is on track or off track, and what actions teams should take next.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and GTM leaders to connect product usage, traffic, conversion, and financial performance into one coordinated view of business health.
- Help set funnel goals, targets, and leading indicators for growth, and guide cross-functional teams on how to sustain momentum across Acrobat and Express.
- Apply advanced analytics and data science methods, including segmentation, forecasting, experimentation, funnel diagnostics, and predictive modeling, to improve decision-making.
- Set the standard on analytical rigor, business storytelling, and executive communication, including regular engagement with VP-level Product and GTM leaders.
- Translate complex data and customer behavior into simple, actionable recommendations that influence product roadmap, marketing strategy, and business planning.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field, with strong business facing experience
- 4+ years of people management experience, including leading and developing high performing teams of analysts or data scientists
- Experience leading global or distributed teams, with the ability to develop clarity, alignment, and accountability across time zones.
- Strong understanding of digital funnels, subscription businesses, product-led growth, customer engagement, conversion, and ARR-based business models.
- Demonstrated ability to connect customer behavior, product usage, funnel performance, and financial outcomes into a clear business narrative.
- Experience running business performance cadences, including weekly executive reviews, performance diagnostics, target tracking, and insight generation.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience influencing senior collaborators across Finance, Marketing, Product, GTM, and Sales.
- Solid foundation in analytics and data science methods, including experimentation, forecasting, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R, along with experience using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred, such as Master’s in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. MBA is a plus.
