Utah does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers along the Wasatch Front typically expect candidates to have managed CX teams, developed voice-of-customer programs, and worked within technology, healthcare, or financial services sectors before stepping into a director-level position.
Which companies hire director of client experiences in Utah?
Utah director of client experience roles are posted by University of Utah, PetSmart, and Utah Jazz and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Utah's strong concentration of SaaS and health technology companies creates consistent demand for senior client experience leadership across the Wasatch Front.
Which Utah cities have the most director of client experience jobs?
Salt Lake City, Provo, and Saint George account for the most director of client experience openings in Utah. Salt Lake City anchors demand through its concentration of enterprise tech and healthcare employers, while Lehi and Provo draw significant hiring from the Silicon Slopes corridor, home to a dense cluster of SaaS and software companies that rely heavily on client experience leadership.

About 37% of director of client experience openings tied to Utah are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the tech-forward culture of Utah employers. The parts of the role most suited to remote work include executive reporting, CX strategy development, and team coaching.
How can I get hired as a director of client experience in Utah with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a customer success manager or senior CX analyst role at a Utah SaaS or health technology company first, then progressing toward director-level over time. Companies like Qualtrics and other Silicon Slopes employers are known for internal promotion cultures and sometimes run associate or emerging-leader programs for high-performing individual contributors. Building a portfolio of measurable CX outcomes, such as improved NPS scores or reduced churn, and earning a certification from a recognized CX professional body strengthens your candidacy before making the jump to director.
