E-3 Visa Reservation Agent Jobs
Reservation Agent roles at U.S. hotels, airlines, and travel companies qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree. Australian professionals can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery, making hospitality and travel management careers in the U.S. more accessible than most candidates realize.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Reservation Agent
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Your Australian hospitality, tourism, or business degree must connect directly to the Reservation Agent role. Gather your official transcripts and a credential evaluation showing U.S. equivalency before you start applying, since employers need this to file the LCA.
Target hotel chains and airline reservations departments
Large hotel groups and major carriers with dedicated reservations teams file LCAs regularly and have HR processes for work authorization. Filter your search to employers with reservation centers or revenue management departments, where degree requirements are more consistently documented.
Use Migrate Mate to handle your LCA and filing
Once you have a job offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This is where many Reservation Agent candidates lose time: the LCA must be DOL-certified before you can book your consulate appointment.
Verify the job description requires a specific degree
E-3 approval depends on the role meeting the USCIS specialty occupation standard. Ask your employer to confirm the job posting states a bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is required, not just preferred, before they file.
Search for roles with E-3 sponsorship on Migrate Mate
Reservation Agent positions that qualify for E-3 sponsorship are listed on Migrate Mate, filtered specifically for Australian nationals. Searching there saves you from approaching employers who don't understand treaty-based visa sponsorship or who confuse the E-3 with H-1B.

Find Reservation Agent JobsReservation Agent E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Reservation Agent jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Reservation Agent roles specifically filtered for E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're only seeing employers open to Australian nationals on treaty visas. General job searches rarely surface E-3-specific openings, and many hospitality employers don't advertise sponsorship availability unless you ask directly or search a platform built for it.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Reservation Agent role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
It qualifies if the employer requires a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, tourism, business, or a closely related field for the specific position. Roles where any degree is acceptable, or where experience substitutes freely for a degree, are harder to approve. Your employer's job description needs to specify the degree requirement clearly before DOL certifies the LCA.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Reservation Agent roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no numerical cap that affects Australian nationals in practice, so your employer can file any time of year. The H-1B requires lottery selection, which means most applications are rejected before USCIS even reviews them. For hospitality roles like Reservation Agent, the E-3 is the practical path for Australians rather than an alternative.
Can I change reservation employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment in Australia to get a new visa stamp. You can start working for the new employer once the LCA is certified and your new E-3 petition is approved, so plan the transition timeline carefully around both filing and travel.
