We Are Hiring:
Location: Wamego, KS
Facility Name: Wamego Health Center - Emergency Department
Schedule: PRN
What You Will Do:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP / PA to join an employed PRN position within a busy, well-respected Emergency Department, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of [3] physicians and [7] APPs
- Call structure: Back Up Rotation
- Practice setting: Emergency Department
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide timely, high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Evaluate, diagnose and manage acute illness and injuries
- Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers where higher levels of care are required
- Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
1 year of experience preferred.
