Entry Level Enterprise Architect Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level enterprise architect job?
Start by building a portfolio that shows you can think at the systems level: document architecture diagrams, technology decision frameworks, or capstone projects from school. Employers at this stage look for familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman, exposure to cloud platforms, and the ability to communicate how IT strategy connects to business goals. Certifications and internship experience both strengthen a first application meaningfully.
Which companies hire entry level enterprise architects?
Companies hiring entry level enterprise architects right now include Molex, Transaction Network Services (TNS), and Eurofins, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from large enterprises and consulting firms that have structured junior programs and can invest in developing architects from the ground up.
Are there remote entry level enterprise architect jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid openings still dominate at the entry level. About 13% of entry level enterprise architect openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles more common at larger organizations that have established distributed teams and onboarding processes suited to junior hires.
Are these new grad enterprise architect jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior enterprise architect roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or academic project work in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates who hold a relevant degree and demonstrate portfolio work rather than a long professional resume.
Which industries hire the most entry level enterprise architects?
Entry Level enterprise architect roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Electronics & Hardware, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the entry level because they run large, complex technology environments that require structured architecture thinking and have the scale to bring in junior talent and develop it over time.
