Join Johnson Controls and contribute to our mission of creating a world that is safe, comfortable, and sustainable. As the Executive Assistant, you will play a critical role in enabling executive effectiveness and advancing key business priorities.
This highly visible role requires a proactive, resourceful professional with exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record supporting senior executives in complex, fast-paced environments. You will serve as a trusted partner to the VP, anticipating needs, managing competing priorities, and ensuring seamless execution of administrative and operational activities.
In this role, you will act as a key member of the leadership support structure, managing a wide range of responsibilities including executive communications, calendar and travel management, meeting coordination, and strategic project support.
How You Will Do It
Executive & Project Support
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials (e.g., PowerPoint) for executive meetings, leadership reviews, and large-scale events
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables aligned with business objectives
- Provide administrative support including budget tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and support execution of strategic priorities
Calendar, Travel & Event Management
- Manage complex executive calendars, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient use of time
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries and expense reporting
- Plan and execute internal and external meetings, events, and leadership sessions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless event coordination
Administrative & Operational Excellence
- Draft and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in compliance with Johnson Controls policies
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Support meeting logistics, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-up actions
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between the VP and internal/external stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with executives, leaders, and cross-functional teams across the organization
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions
What We Look For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of executive administrative support experience, or 10+ years of combined education and relevant experience
- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a complex, matrixed organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to create executive-level presentations
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- High level of professionalism and discretion

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,000-129,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
