Who's Hiring

Finance Jobs in Oklahoma City: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a finance job in Oklahoma City?
Focus your search on Oklahoma City's dominant hiring sectors: energy and oil-and-gas companies concentrated along Northwest Expressway, regional and community banks headquartered downtown, large healthcare networks on the medical corridor, and insurance carriers with significant local operations. Candidates who combine analytical skills with familiarity with energy-sector financial reporting or banking regulations tend to stand out in this market. Networking through the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber events and local CFA society meetups also opens doors that online applications often don't.
Which companies hire finances in Oklahoma City?
Companies currently hiring finances in Oklahoma City include Nortek, Accenture, and Ryder System, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Oklahoma City's employer mix skews toward energy producers and midstream companies, regional financial institutions, large healthcare systems, and corporate insurance carriers, all of which maintain in-house finance teams across accounting, FP&A, treasury, and audit functions.
Are there remote finance jobs in Oklahoma City?
Yes, though availability depends on the specific role, with analytical and reporting positions far more likely to be remote than treasury, audit, or energy-operations finance roles that require on-site collaboration. About 100% of finance openings tied to Oklahoma City are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting a broader shift across corporate finance and FP&A functions. In Oklahoma City specifically, hybrid arrangements are most common at larger energy companies and healthcare systems with established distributed-work policies.
How can I get a finance job in Oklahoma City with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Oklahoma City is through accounts payable, accounts receivable, or junior financial analyst roles at the city's large energy companies and healthcare networks, which hire entry-level candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business. Oklahoma City's banking sector, including community banks and credit unions headquartered downtown, regularly brings on associate-level analysts and loan-processing staff. Internship programs at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City University's Meinders School of Business, and local energy firms are also strong feeders into full-time roles.
