INTRODUCTION
We are seeking an experienced Flight Controls Integration Engineer to support the integration, development, validation, and certification of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control systems for advanced aircraft programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with flight control system suppliers, developing technical requirements, supporting testing activities, and resolving in-service aircraft issues while ensuring compliance with aerospace development standards.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the integration of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control systems on the aircraft.
- Collaborate with Flight Control system suppliers to support the development of concepts, design approaches, and system philosophy.
- Develop, validate, and verify technical requirements for Flight Control systems.
- Prepare and review test procedures, test plans, and test reports.
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, and verification activities during aircraft development and certification phases.
- Investigate and resolve issues arising from in-service aircraft operations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including systems, avionics, flight test, and certification departments.
- Ensure compliance with ARP4754 aerospace system development processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support technical reviews, design evaluations, and certification documentation activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in integration of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control systems within the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of aircraft flight control systems integration and development processes.
- Experience working directly with Flight Control system suppliers.
- Experience developing, validating, and verifying system technical requirements.
- Experience preparing and reviewing engineering test procedures and reports.
- Knowledge of aerospace certification and development standards including ARP4754.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting in-service aircraft issue resolution is preferred.
