The (USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities equipment or fixtures, documenting wear, repair needs, and replacement requirements.
- Conduct major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, diagnosing issues with appropriate tools and manuals.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Order parts, track expenses, submit warranty claims, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide expert advice to support continuous improvement and align maintenance efforts with business needs.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and facility repair to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics and repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues using technical manuals and blueprints.
- Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools, hoists, and other equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination while ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail in documenting maintenance activities, repair needs, and capital expense information.
- Commitment to quality workmanship aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program, License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located, Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
