Description:
At Lockheed Martin we keep people safe and solve the world's most complex challenges. Our people are some of the greatest minds in the industry and truly make Lockheed Martin a great place to work. With our employees as our priority, we provide career opportunities designed to propel development and boost agility. Our flexible schedules, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits enable our employees to live a healthy, fulfilling life at and outside of work. This is a place for engineers, scientists, and problem-solvers who are ready to engage deeply, think critically, and build with purpose. You will not just launch a career. You will be part of something bigger. This is where the best are built.Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities enable F-35 pilots to locate and track enemy forces, jam radars and disrupt attacks with unparalleled effectiveness. Advanced avionics give the pilot real-time access to battle space information with 360-degree coverage and an unparalleled ability to dominate the tactical environment. Data collected by sensors on the F-35 will immediately be shared with commanders at sea, in the air or on the ground, providing an instantaneous, high-fidelity view of ongoing operations - making the F-35 a formidable force multiplier while enhancing coalition operations. This system allows F-35 pilots to reach well-defended targets and suppress enemy radars.
The F-35 Mission Data organization is in need of a Mission Systems engineer with an understanding of EW and RF principles to help deploy the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT) to our customers. The CRT will effectively provide our customers with a more efficient, robust approach to rapidly reprogram Mission Data Files (MDFs) for F-35 mission operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing capabilities that will be integrated into the CRT and working closely with Software Engineers to ensure implementation meets predefined acceptance criteria, managing the verification approach of these capabilities via lab and integration testing, and ensuring all risks or issues within their work execution are well understood across the team. The selected candidate will also be responsible for export of design documentation related to CRT and CRT exportability. Key areas of responsibility are: MBSE Design & Implementation, Cross-Functional leadership, Integration & Test, Export Control, and Software Development.
Candidate must be able to obtain a clearance and must process for a company-sponsored interim secret prior to start.
