The Data Platform Specialist II will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our data platforms, specifically portions of the CaseWorthy platform that is in the build and implementation process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable about data processes, and passionate about using data to drive social impact. This role will support our data initiatives by ensuring that our data systems are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Develop AI-driven tools and automations to improve data entry, reporting efficiency, and dashboard usability.
Lead integration and use of the data platform for Co-Op partners, including data uploads, portals, and shared reporting.
Build and maintain automated data workflows and system integrations to reduce manual processes and improve data access.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for SEI staff and Co-Op partners, resolving complex platform issues.
Use coding and AI tools to create solutions that enhance platform functionality and usability for non-technical users.
Develop and implement components of the enterprise data platform to support multiple agency programs, ensuring alignment with overall architecture, standards, and governance.
Partner with program staff, managers, and directors to understand program needs and priorities, translating requirements into effective data platform solutions.
Administer the day-to-day operations of the data platform, including user management, data uploads, and maintenance.
Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that all stakeholders' needs are met with professionalism and responsiveness.
This role requires active presence in program spaces during programming and events, ensuring close alignment across the agency and firsthand involvement in the delivery of services and activities.
Keep track of received data and source documents and completed work.
Creates, prepares and processes special and recurring reports and administrative records via multiple databases.
Performs file transfer processes as needed based on project requirements.
Provides data verification and interfaces with program staff to ensure accuracy of data and reports.
Monitor data integrity, availability, and performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the data platform meets organizational needs and performance standards.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of data warehouses, ensuring proper data architecture and organization.
Support data integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability between various systems and applications.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of data systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Provide technical support and training to staff on data platform functionalities and best practices.
Provide technical support and training to agency staff and program participants.
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data management and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintains all data documents for Local, State, Federal and other funders’ requirements.
Engage with agency stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure it aligns with our mission of empowerment and advocacy.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field or 3+ years of experience in data administration, data management, or a related role, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused environment.
Highly organized and self-motivated with effective time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
