Human Resources Associate Jobs in Tulsa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources associate job in Tulsa?
The strongest entry points in Tulsa are energy companies along the downtown oil-and-gas corridor, large hospital systems in the Midtown medical district, and manufacturers in the industrial parks east and south of the city center. Candidates who pair generalist HR skills with familiarity in benefits administration or HRIS platforms tend to stand out. Targeting mid-size employers in these sectors gives you the broadest pool of open roles in the Tulsa market.
Which companies hire human resources associates in Tulsa?
Companies currently hiring human resources associates in Tulsa include YMCA, Boeing, and CommunityCare, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tulsa's employer mix runs heavily toward energy producers, regional healthcare networks, financial services firms, and manufacturers, all of which maintain active HR teams year-round.
Are there remote human resources associate jobs in Tulsa?
Yes, though availability depends on the function: analytical and administrative HR work is more remote-friendly, while roles tied to onboarding, employee relations, or facility compliance tend to require an on-site presence. About 0% of human resources associate openings tied to Tulsa are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Hybrid arrangements are most common at Tulsa's larger corporate employers and regional headquarters.
How can I get a human resources associate job in Tulsa with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Tulsa is through administrative or coordinator roles at the city's large hospital systems, energy companies, or staffing agencies, which regularly hire candidates with a bachelor's degree and no dedicated HR experience. Tulsa Community College and the University of Tulsa both produce graduates who move directly into HR support roles at local employers. Volunteering with Tulsa-area nonprofits or interning through local staffing firms are also common first steps that build a local professional network quickly.
Which industries hire the most human resources associates in Tulsa?
Most human resources associate openings in Tulsa sit in Aerospace & Defense and Healthcare & Medical Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tulsa's long-standing concentration in energy extraction and refining, combined with a growing regional healthcare sector and a substantial manufacturing base, keeps demand for HR support roles consistently higher than in many comparably sized metros.
