We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving abilities for the position of Sr Specialist IT Onsite Support. The duties include being a point of contact for all IT related questions at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other duties. Work can also occasionally include installation of network and camera cabling, installing wired/wireless networks, security camera systems, phone systems, and door access systems. This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime.

What you’ll do
- Serves as the first point of escalation for more complex IT support issues.
- Provides friendly, courteous, and quality systems support to all users
- Responds to incoming telephone calls, voicemail, web-submissions, emails and/or chat for assistance from users experiencing problems
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, resolves, tracks, escalates and accurately documents various technical problems
- Documents customer requests in call tracking system, routes problems as required and documents clear and detailed resolution notes for all incidents / problems being closed.
- Completes warranty repairs work as necessary
- Refers major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors
- Suggests improvements to current processes to improve productivity
- Uses asset database to manage the location of assets
- Follows standard IT Support procedures
- Stays current with system information, changes and updates.

What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- One year of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting/installing printer drivers/etc
- Basic knowledge of networks/topography. Basic knowledge of network gear and setting up remote networks/VPNs
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting tablets/remote devices/phones.
- Basic hardware knowledge (replacing parts/etc)
- Knowledge of imaging and deploying various mobile assets.
- Ability to set up offices (ISPs/cabling)
- Able to support field employees (good communication and analytical skills).
- Use of remote tools to troubleshoot.
- Installation and training on new hardware/software.
- Willing to travel to various work sites.
- Must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
