We are looking for a Media & Communications Intern to support media outreach, content creation, and communication strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support media relations and journalist outreach across U.S. and international media outlets
- Assist in building and maintaining media lists and journalist databases
- Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, thought leadership articles, and PR materials
- Support the development of brand narratives and media story angles
- Conduct research on industry trends, media coverage, and competitor communications strategies
- Assist in coordinating interviews, media opportunities, and PR campaigns
- Support content creation for LinkedIn, newsletters, and other communication channels
Qualifications
- Bilingual ability (English + Chinese) is a must
- Background in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields
- Strong writing and editing skills in English (journalistic or PR writing experience preferred)
- Familiarity with media relations or PR agency workflows (4A/PR internship experience is a plus)
- Ability to translate complex topics into compelling stories
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Interest in technology, startups, venture capital, or global business
Preferred:
- Experience writing press releases, op-eds, or media articles
- Experience working with media databases (Cision, Muck Rack, etc.)
