Junior Operations Manager / Operations Coordinator

TOPRAIL PHARMACEUTICALS is a growing pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company based in Northbrook, IL. We are looking for a smart, organized, motivated full-time team member to help support daily operations, order processing, customer follow-up, trade shows, marketing support, and general business administration.

The right person will work directly with company leadership and learn many parts of the business, including operations, logistics, customer support, marketing, trade shows, account management, inventory, and business development.

Position Overview

The Junior Operations Manager / Operations Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day flow of orders, paperwork, customer follow-up, returns, shipping documents, and internal data. This person will also support trade shows, marketing projects, account follow-up, and general business needs.

This is a hands-on role. Some days may be focused on order processing, invoices, packing slips, and Advanced Shipping Notices. Other days may involve customer follow-up, organizing product information, helping prepare for a trade show, cleaning up data, assisting with returns, or helping in the warehouse when needed.

The ideal candidate is a real go-getter — someone who takes ownership, learns quickly, stays organized, and wants more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

The Junior Operations Manager / Operations Coordinator will help with:

• Processing customer and wholesale orders
• Creating invoices, packing slips, and shipping documents
• Creating and managing Advanced Shipping Notices
• Maintaining order, customer, product, inventory, and account data
• Helping organize and update spreadsheets, reports, and internal records
• Processing returns and helping resolve order issues
• Communicating with customers, vendors, and wholesale partners
• Assisting with minor account management and customer follow-up
• Supporting marketing projects, email follow-ups, and product information requests
• Helping prepare for and attend approximately 1–4 trade shows per year
• Assisting with trade show planning, shipping, booth preparation, and post-show follow-up
• Helping with general office management and administrative tasks
• Supporting warehouse operations when needed, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory organization
• Helping the owner and team with special projects as the business grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong computer skills required
• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, EDI, shipping systems, order processing, or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Must be reliable, professional, and willing to learn
• Must be comfortable working in person at our Northbrook, IL office/warehouse

• Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience
