INTRODUCTION
NVIDIA's invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as “the AI computing company”. We are looking for outstanding ML/DL compiler engineers to join the team and develop groundbreaking technologies in machine learning compilers and AI systems. We build innovative AI compiler solutions that work together with NVIDIA's software stack to provide comprehensive acceleration for modern machine learning models. As a member of the team, you will develop innovative AI compiler technologies for NVIDIA's hardware architecture. You will develop new ML/DL compiler abstractions, build efficient attention runtimes, and ML/DL-compiler driven system solutions to accelerate large language models, agents, and other high-impact machine learning workloads. As part of this role, you will be building a close technical relationship with internal NVIDIA software and hardware teams to push the latest developments to NVIDIA's product.

Machine Learning Manager Jobs in Austin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a machine learning manager job in Austin?
Focus your search on Austin's semiconductor and enterprise software employers in the Domain and Round Rock corridor, plus the fintech and healthtech companies growing in East Austin and Downtown. Candidates who stand out here combine hands-on ML engineering depth with demonstrated team leadership and cross-functional product experience. Familiarity with the high-throughput data environments common in Austin's chip design and cloud infrastructure sector gives applicants a concrete edge over generalist candidates.
Which companies hire machine learning managers in Austin?
Austin machine learning manager roles are posted by Apple, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Austin's hiring base includes semiconductor manufacturers, enterprise SaaS platforms, regional financial services firms, and a growing cluster of AI-native startups that have relocated or launched here over the past few years.
Are there remote machine learning manager jobs in Austin?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type: strategic and product-facing ML manager positions tend to be more remote-friendly than those tied to on-site infrastructure or lab environments. About 23% of machine learning manager openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the broader flexibility tech employers here have maintained. Model strategy, team oversight, and stakeholder work are the functions most commonly performed remotely in Austin-based roles.
How can I get a machine learning manager job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is moving into a senior ML engineer or tech lead role at one of the city's mid-size SaaS or semiconductor companies, then transitioning into management once you have direct reports or project ownership. Austin employers like to promote from within, and the local startup scene offers earlier management responsibility than larger enterprises. Contributing to open-source ML projects and engaging with Austin's ML and AI meetup community helps build the network that surfaces those internal opportunities.
Which industries hire the most machine learning managers in Austin?
