This is not a theoretical or advisory role rather it’s a role that will build-and-deploy with direct visibility to senior leadership and a mandate to drive measurable business impact.
This position is a seasoned, highly technical, individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Data Engineering & AI Architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10 years of experience in data and/or systems engineering, preferably 3-5 years of experience with machine learning, or AI-driven data platforms

- Proficiency in modern AI/ML frameworks and tools (specifically, Glean, Claude, Co-pilot Enterprise, etc.)
- Strong system design and architecture capabilities
- Strong understanding of NLP (natural language processing), conversational AI, and their applications
- Proven track record of building and deploying AI systems into production (not just advising or prototyping)
- Ability to operate as both a hands-on builder and a strategic technical partner to business leaders
- Strong bias for action – moves quickly from idea to execution and prioritize impact over perfection
- Analytical mindset with comfort guiding stakeholders through ambiguity
- Executive-level verbal/written communication skills
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders

AI Solution Architect Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ai solution architect in Texas?
Texas does not require a state-issued license to work as an ai solution architect. The typical path is a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, followed by several years of hands-on engineering or data science experience. Many Texas employers look for candidates with cloud certifications from AWS, Microsoft, or Google, plus a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end AI solution design. Graduate degrees in machine learning or data science accelerate placement into senior roles.
Which companies hire ai solution architects in Texas?
Employers hiring ai solution architects in Texas right now include Bain & Company, NVIDIA, and PepsiCo, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large defense contractors, and major energy companies means demand comes from a broad range of industries rather than technology firms alone.
Which Texas cities have the most ai solution architect jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Houston have the most ai solution architect openings in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth leads because of its dense cluster of corporate headquarters and financial services firms, Houston's demand is driven by energy sector digital transformation and a large medical center, and Austin's fast-growing technology sector fuels consistent hiring across startups and established tech employers alike.
Are there remote ai solution architect jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 29% of ai solution architect openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how naturally this role fits distributed work. The parts of the role most often done fully remote include architecture design, stakeholder presentations, and model evaluation, while on-site presence is more common during initial deployment or when working with sensitive enterprise data.
How can I get hired as a ai solution architect in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a cloud engineering or data engineering role, then moving laterally into solution architecture once you've built hands-on AI project experience. Large Texas employers like Dell Technologies and Texas-based financial institutions regularly hire associate cloud architects and junior ML engineers as stepping-stone positions. Building a portfolio of personal or open-source AI projects, earning a foundational cloud certification, and targeting rotational technology programs at Texas corporate headquarters can open the door without prior architect-level titles.
Where can I find and apply to ai solution architect jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to ai solution architect jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and metros. Find the roles that fit your background and apply directly from the listing.
