Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced product leader to work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build AI-powered solutions that solve enterprise problems. We are looking for a product leader who is able to move quickly, from deeply understanding a business challenge to prototyping an AI solution to proving its value. You will lead and drive a complex product area within our applied AI portfolio, define what success is, build and develop with the team, and drive step-change results across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a complex product area within our applied AI portfolio, defining success, prioritizing problems, and identifying the best AI-driven strategies considering wider organizational context. Adapt and adjust strategies to reflect learnings and changes.
- You will partner directly with business units to deeply understand their operations, capture requirements, map processes, and identify the most significant opportunities for AI-driven improvement.
- You will translate business objectives and user needs into clearly scoped AI use cases and drive them from concept through prototyping, development, evaluation, and validation.
- You will own the backlog - write epics, features, and stories; prioritize the work.
- You will develop detailed program plans, milestones and risk mitigation strategies.
- You will lead rapid prototyping of AI solutions, including GenAI applications, AI agents, conversational AI, and intelligent automation, to demonstrate feasibility and business value.
- You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to define product vision, develop roadmaps, and drive progress against goals and milestones, while improving team health and up-leveling team effectiveness.
- You will gather and analyze user research, business process data, and market analysis to inform product decisions and influence the wider product organization.
- Lead the development of evaluation frameworks to test, benchmark, and compare AI models and platforms against enterprise success requirements.
- You will actively identify opportunities and resolve dependencies by creating shared strategies across teams in adjacent product areas.
- You will develop reusable product frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that accelerate AI solution delivery across the organization.
- You will influence strategy and progress across partner teams, enhancing collaboration and resolving divergent goals.
- You will communicate product strategy, progress, and business value with radical clarity to all stakeholders.
- You will support the growth of PMs and cross-functional team members by providing mentorship, coaching, and hands-on guidance.

AI Product Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ai product manager in Texas?
The path into an ai product manager role in Texas starts with a technical or business undergraduate degree, followed by experience in a related role such as software engineering, data analysis, or traditional product management. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role. Most candidates build credibility through a portfolio of shipped AI or ML products, and certifications from recognized bodies such as the Association of International Product Professionals can strengthen an application at Texas-based enterprise employers.
Which companies hire ai product managers in Texas?
Employers hiring ai product managers in Texas right now include Apple, Capgemini, and Motorola Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, defense contractors, and energy technology firms means demand extends well beyond the startup ecosystem into large enterprises with multi-year AI roadmaps.
Which Texas cities have the most ai product manager jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Houston hold the largest concentration of ai product manager openings in Texas. Austin's dense technology sector drives much of the volume, while Dallas attracts roles tied to financial services, telecommunications, and corporate headquarters, and Houston generates openings from energy technology companies and large health systems investing in AI-powered products.
Are there remote ai product manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 16% of ai product manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how naturally the role fits distributed work. The parts of the job most amenable to fully remote arrangements are roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, and data review, while roles involving close collaboration with hardware teams or on-site research labs more often require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a ai product manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a lateral move from a technical adjacent role such as data analyst, software engineer, or business systems analyst, where you have already worked alongside product teams. Texas employers including Dell, Texas Instruments, and USAA run associate product manager or rotational technology programs that accept candidates without prior PM titles. Building a case study portfolio that shows AI problem framing and prioritization decisions, even from side projects or internships, gives a concrete edge when applying to these programs.
Where can I find and apply to ai product manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to ai product manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and other markets. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly.
