We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?
The Team
Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?
You will sit at the intersection of Product, IT, and the broader business, helping the team focus on the highest-value work. This role combines classic technical product management with hands-on Enterprise AI delivery: you will create clarity from intake, shape roadmaps, communicate tradeoffs, and personally test and validate the automations and agents that improve how work gets done. You will partner with technical and business leaders in a fast-moving environment where thoughtful experimentation and operational rigor matter.
The Role
What type of work will you be doing:
- Own the project and product intake process for Enterprise AI and IT; create lightweight standards for requests, discovery, prioritization, sizing, and decision-making.
- Maintain and communicate a clear roadmap across IT platforms, internal tools, AI capabilities, and automation initiatives; make dependencies, risks, milestones, and tradeoffs visible.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through launch and adoption, coordinating Engineering, IT, Security, Data, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business pain points into well-defined opportunities, requirements, user stories, success measures, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead Enterprise AI use cases, including workflow automation, knowledge assistants, copilots, and task-oriented agents.
- Be hands-on with AI automation and agents: design test scenarios, create representative test data, evaluate accuracy, reliability, and safety, document findings, and drive improvements before release.
- Establish practical validation and monitoring approaches for prompts, tools, permissions, data access, human-in-the-loop controls, and failure modes.
- Coordinate pilots and rollouts; manage change communications, enablement, documentation, and feedback loops so solutions are adopted and produce measurable value.
- Provide concise executive and stakeholder communications on progress, decisions, outcomes, and risks; partner with IT on platform and vendor evaluations, integrations, incident follow-up, and operational readiness.
What You'll Bring
Your experience and strengths:
- 5+ years of product management, technical program management, business systems, IT, or related experience, with a track record of delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Experience running AI enablement and transformation initiatives from pilot to production.
- Curiosity, pragmatism, and a builder mindset; willing to get into the details, learn new tools quickly, and improve the system after every iteration.
- Experience managing an intake process and roadmap across multiple stakeholders, balancing strategic priorities with urgent operational needs.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT concepts, SaaS applications, integrations and APIs, identity and access management, data flows, security, and change management.
- Hands-on experience evaluating AI products, automation workflows, or agents; comfortable testing real scenarios, probing edge cases, and separating demos from dependable solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI quality and risk considerations, including accuracy, groundedness, privacy, permissions, security, reliability, observability, and human oversight.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, experiments, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor a message for executives, technical teams, and business users.
- Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through; comfortable making progress with incomplete information and changing priorities.
- Experience in a startup, high-growth, or software/SaaS company is ideal.

AI Product Owner Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ai product owner in Texas?
There is no state-issued license required to work as an ai product owner in Texas. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, along with hands-on product management experience. Earning a Certified Scrum Product Owner credential or a product management certificate from a recognized program strengthens your candidacy. Texas's large enterprise tech and defense sectors typically prefer candidates who can demonstrate ownership of a shipped AI or data product.
Which companies hire ai product owners in Texas?
Employers hiring ai product owners in Texas right now include American Heart Association, AMD, and Mirantis, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of financial technology firms, defense contractors, and enterprise software companies means demand is broad and not limited to a single industry.
Which Texas cities have the most ai product owner jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Houston have the most ai product owner openings in Texas. Austin drives a large share of the volume through its dense startup ecosystem and the regional headquarters of major tech firms, while Dallas and Houston contribute through enterprise technology, financial services, and energy sector companies that are building AI capabilities into existing platforms.
Are there remote ai product owner jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 89% of ai product owner openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and collaborative-by-video nature of the role. Strategic and roadmap-focused responsibilities translate well to remote work, while roles that require frequent stakeholder workshops or on-site agile ceremonies tend to stay hybrid.
How can I get hired as a ai product owner in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from an adjacent role such as business analyst, software developer, or data analyst into a junior product manager or associate product owner position. Large Texas employers including Dell Technologies, American Airlines, and USAA run rotational product programs and associate product manager tracks that accept candidates without dedicated product management experience. Building a portfolio that documents a product problem you solved, even in a personal or academic project, and earning a Certified Scrum Product Owner credential give you a concrete edge when applying to these programs.
Where can I find and apply to ai product owner jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to ai product owner jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and experience levels. Search the available roles, find ones that match your background and preferences, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
