Building Maintenance Specialist
Sofidel America is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Supervisor to manage the operations, maintenance, and security needs of our facility. This role supports the Facility and Site Operations Managers in achieving corporate objectives, overseeing budgets, and managing renovations and expansions. The ideal candidate will estimate and control costs related to machinery, labor, and contractor services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and activities in Building Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Fire Prevention.
- Manage budgets, projects, and vendor services for Facility operations.
- Oversee general building maintenance and site cleanliness.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems like HVAC, generators, and water accounts.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Participate in meetings to address issues and stay informed on new policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-3 years of related experience preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical skills with basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
- Strong math skills, including basic arithmetic.
