About the Role
Help us deliver precision aerospace components by developing robust CNC programs and process documentation. You’ll focus on mill‑turn and 2‑axis lathe work, building reliable, high‑quality machining strategies for tight‑tolerance parts and demanding materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize NC programs in Siemens NX for mill‑turn machines, 2‑axis lathes, and CNC mills as needed
- Run virtual machine simulation to validate programs and reduce risk before the first cut
- Perform on‑machine prove‑outs and continuous optimization
- Collaborate with design engineering to improve designs for manufacturability and apply GD&T correctly
- Assist with equipment installation, runoff, and production startup
- Author clear process work instructions and supporting documentation
- Support other related duties as business needs evolve
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of CAM programming experience with a strong emphasis on lathes (some mill programming is a plus)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and understanding of CAD principles and GD&T
- Knowledge of workholding strategies, cutting tool selection, and gaging
- Experience creating process documentation
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency

U.S. Citizenship required — this position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Selected candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Preferred Experience
