Home Gym Installer – Fast Track to Lead Installer
Pay: $18.00 – $27.00 per hour to start (+ uncapped bonuses)

Forged Fitness Equipment designs, delivers, and installs serious home gyms for busy professionals and families across Southeast Michigan. We are the premium, done‑for‑you provider in our market.

We’re hiring a Home Gym Installer who starts on a crew and can grow into running installs as a Lead Installer over time.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly during ramp: $22–$27/hr to start, based on experience
• Overtime: 1.5x over 40 hours
• Location: Based out of Novi, MI, installs typically within ~90 minutes
• Schedule: Full‑time, mostly Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays in busy seasons
• Advancement: Clear written ladder career path with raises tied to specific performance benchmarks (on‑time jobs, zero damage, clean checklists, client feedback)

Top Lead Installers earn significantly more once they’re consistently hitting speed and quality targets and running crews.

What You’ll Do (Day 1–90)

• Install custom home gyms in garages, basements, and spare rooms
• Load, transport, and install equipment: racks, flooring, benches, storage, cardio, etc.
• Protect client homes (floors, walls, doors) and leave every job clean and finished
• Follow written install instructions and complete simple job photos and checklists on your phone
• Work as part of a small crew under a Lead Installer (no solo “figure it out” jobs)
• Learn our standards for staging, install sequence, and final walkthroughs

Who You Are

• 1+ year(s) in one of: fitness equipment install, moving, carpentry, residential construction, remodeling, or similar hands‑on trade
• Comfortable lifting 75+ lbs repeatedly and being on your feet most of the day
• Strong with basic hand and power tools and willing to learn our way of doing things
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Novi warehouse
• High pride in workmanship and doing it right the first time
• Professional with clients, on‑time, and clear in communication

Fast Track & Advancement

From day one you’ll know what it takes to move up:

• First 90 days:
• Prove you can run standard installs on time, to spec, with zero home damage
• Hit checklist completion and photo standards on every job
• Earn positive feedback from homeowners and your Lead
• After that, one of two things happens:
• You continue as a Home Gym Installer with strong hourly pay to run more complex work, or
• If you’ve hit specific KPIs (install volume, on‑time and on‑budget jobs, customer reviews, crew feedback), you move onto the Lead Installer track, where you begin taking on: Driving and leading a crew, Job planning and staging, On‑site quality control and client walkthroughs.
